The story about not enjoying food hit me too. Eating the bland foods made me revert back to old habits. My biggest challenge is my diet. I workout 4 times a week but losing the weight is the biggest hurdle. Awesome video
This is so inspirational, mount trashmore , the blue garbage cans, etc. Knowing you lost that 100lbs in the 757. I'm turning 30 next month and starting to prioritize my health. Great video, Brix. Great fitness info., but taking the time to capture your reconciliation your relationship with Mike was, for me, the highlight of this video. This world would be a much better place if we all learned to do that. Thanks
Started out 430, doing carnivore for a couple months down to 360. But this is over years of failing and succeeding and failing again. The consistency of not giving up or being hard on myself has me able to focus on this diet now more than ever because things aligned for me. I have a long way to go but I'm focused on the long road. This feeling 8s comparable to when I would fast for a few days. My mind is clear, inflammation is gone, no bloating, no arthritis flare ups, my posture has even gotten better. I found what works for me doing a few years of research first, once I got that down I proceeded to dieting. Next will be fitness so when I hit the gym I know how to work out my full body. It's always good seeing others do what we consider impossible. I hope I motivate those around me because I just want everyone to feel better and live their best life possible. Find a diet that's clean but you can still enjoy what you like. I have always been a protein over everything else guy so carnivore fits me well, find what fits you.
Ive been following you for YEARS. Although I am a woman., you have motivated me on my journey. Your wisdom and transparency has helped me be more open about my struggles amd successes on this journey. Keep doing and being YOU. Thank you ❤

AMAZING video Brix! That reconciliation portion with your former trainer is worth a million. Thx for including that. We need to see men doing more of this. Kudos fam!
Thank you for sharing your story. The craziest part about this all is I dealt with these exact same issues, the bland food, the repetitiveness, and being scared to even season my food or even the carbs. This is the most relatable video I’ve ever seen, and thank you for being honest and real because these are real issues and I’m happy you shared what you would have done differently because that gives me insight on what I should also do you don’t know how much this video means thank you thank you thank you!!!!
I came across your channel Brix back in 2017 - and man you kept me so motivated. I'm now back on my weight loss journey after 3 years, and I came back here bc I know your channel had the tips and motivation I need to keep going. Thanks for the content man appreciate it 🙏❤️
Props to you for losing all that weight and sharing your knowledge with others. But my favorite part of the video was you reaching out to your boy and having that sit down, big on your part for reaching out and big on his part for no holding any animosity ❤
I haven't seen this channel in a while. I remember wanting to lose weight so bad. I'm 91lbs down and I had to get a new license because I do not look the same. Just know you are worth it and you can do it.
I started the beginning of July, and today(August 14)... I'm down 41 lbs. I told myself I want to lose 100 before January 2023. I'm getting there. This month I'm not eating no bread, taco shells, or burritos... which is hard for me because I love chipotle and Jersey Mike's.... bread and candy was my weakness. I wish I recorded my body too. Smh. I hated taking pictures of myself.
The take away for me is....1) meal prep 2) weekly pictures 3) more carbs and protein 4) weigh myself 1 or 2 times per month 5) calorie counter 6) Get on a routine..... AWESOME 😎 VIDEO BRO
That conversation with the old homie was real bro. I'm 5'6, 267 lbs, just found out I have diabetes and I have my own story. I'm here just seeking advice and I became a fan. subscribed!
I was telling my husband that I was feeling discouraged last night and he said “slow and steady wins the race” so when I heard you say it, I almost cried because it’s really true. We don’t need to torture ourselves to lose weight. I’m glad you learned to season your food! It definitely makes all the difference!
Props to you for losing all that weight and sharing your knowledge with others. But my favorite part of the video was you reaching out to your boy and having that sit down, big on your part for reaching out and big on his part for no holding any animosity
Whew! I needed the reminder that slow and steady is the way to go. Staring at my remainder 80 pounds like we got this sis. Thanks for sharing your journey!
I did a 6 month cutt. Lifted 4 days a week and cardio and abs on off days. I ate between 1700 to 2600 calories. I'm 6' and Starting weight was 275lbs and end result was 194. I lost 80. I was shredded. I started January 1st and by July 8th i hit my mark.
I needed to hear this I’ve lost 8lbs I was 209 my goal is 185 or low 190’s.I’m pacing myself, working out,not eating crappy food, sugary drinks & working out
I dropped 60lbs within a year and I’m happy with my results, I want to drop a total of 100lbs but what was most important to me was more of adopting good eating behaviors. I feel so much in control of my eating habits than ever before.
This is very inspirational for me personally as I'm currently working my way out of rock bottom. I'm not quite as big as you are frame wise but my body fat% is probably simialr to you at your worst for my build. I'm 5'10 so I should probably be around 140-150lbs with not much fat (not counting muscle) but I ballooned up to 215lbs at my worst 💀 I'm sure you'll be able to relate to this: one day I was depressingly looking in the mirror and suddenly noticed something strange, red marks on my stomach I'd never seem before and rhen reaalized I had visible strech marks on my stomach. That finally broke me and made me realize I needed to chnage. I didn't know how to start so I just started walking regualry and eating once a day along with fasting. As of today I've dropped over 35lbs since Dec 10th. I'm not only less depressed but feel better mood wise and physically too. Can only say I wish I knew how easy this can really be if you don't overcomplciate things and can stay disinclined enough for repetition. Thanks for what you're doing man God bless!
I wish I documented my weight loss journey. I in all honesty didn’t think I’d get there but gone from almost 23stone to 11 stone 6 pounds. I’m going to Google to see how much that is in pounds. Calorie checking and protein is the way forward with this and setting small goals at a time. This time 2 stone, next time one stone, next time 2 and so on. Took a couple of years because if I wanted chocolate or a desert I would have one.
This was the best fitness video I've seen. Love your openness explaining your dos and don'ts. Your mental healing journey brought tears to see two men sitting and being vulnerable and expressing your thoughts and feelings. Sweet, thank you!
Slow and steady wins the race. Let your habits lead the way. The higher version of myself owns the body I want, so I must evolve. This is all really excellent advice.
nice to see your skin bounced back. always worries me about becoming fit after not being that way for so long. But it looks like you were a little bigger than i am at your starting point and your body is looking mint anyways so. im just worried about the lose skin never looking good again.
Just think about how you will feel bro. If in the end it really bothers you, try every cream. And try to remember the loose skin is a better problem to have!
I just ran across this/Your amazing, inspiring video today, WOW! I have 40 lbs to lose and I can't seem to get motivated. I stopped smoking 10 yrs ago and these 40 lbs came gradually but I just have to get started. So I will start today. Your story was beautiful. Glad you went back to thank that guy who motivated you. I wish you could make a video of how you eat today and what we should eat to get the weight to come off. Your before and after pics look like 2 different people. I want to grow up to be like you! Thank you again! I'm Inspired! 😢😮😢
Nice video! Keep Striving for greatness. I did the biggest mistake ever. I've started at 255 to 190 and then from 190 to 273 smh Ive gained so much wait its not even funny. Ever since that happened its hard for me to find the motivation. I keep trying to remind myself that I've done it before but idk what it is I can't find a rhythm.
I cook a whole chicken in the pressure cooker, only takes 22 minutes and it's the best chicken you'll ever try. Same with veg, it's definitely been a game changer for me.
On learning how to cook... Spice mixes are SO helpful. They can be a bit salty, but once you find ones that you enjoy, they are a game changer. Just some plain ol' taco seasoning on a chicken breast, pre-made pico, and a sliced avocado is great. Spice mixes mean that the the same ingredients used daily can taste completely different.
That’s what’s up carnal. I caught a felony and gained a lot of weight from when I was really down on myself. Since NOV of 2022 I started mma fighting like how I used to in high school. Eat great now. I’m 10 lbs away today from loosing 100 lbs.

This is so inspirational, mount trashmore , the blue garbage cans, etc. Knowing you lost that 100lbs in the 757. I'm turning 30 next month and starting to prioritize my health. I'm working on my binge eating and I'm picking up some excercising along the way. 296 now and not stopping until I hot the 100's bless up!
This is how inspirational videos for transformations should be. Just straight up information on how to go from fat to jacked. Please keep the videos coming! #SUBSCRIBED 🤘
Great video, Brix. Great fitness info., but taking the time to capture your reconciliation your relationship with Mike was, for me, the highlight of this video. This world would be a much better place if we all learned to do that. Thanks
🙏🏾💪🏾
Dang. I'm 52 starting my fat loss journey. Gotta lose 100 lbs. Much love on you for sharing this. Inspirational. I appreciate it.
I'm 58 soon to be 59 and gotta lose 100. I've lost 25 in the past 3 months. I'm going to be ripped for the first time in my life.
Ive been following you for YEARS. Although I am a woman., you have motivated me on my journey. Your wisdom and transparency has helped me be more open about my struggles amd successes on this journey. Keep doing and being YOU. Thank you ❤
I’m extremely proud of you Brix this vid had to be so hard to make and share with us so many triggering moments im just so proud of the man you’ve become since I’ve been watching you for the last like 2 yrs you’ve had so much Grown Man Growth and you’ve helped me get to where I am now 70 lbs down but this time losing it slow my mindset changed first so I thank God for you and ppl like you you all was brave enough to walk this path so the rest of us could one day run May God continue to bless you 💪🏽❤️🙏🏼
Congrats! I hope to meet you one day and hear more about your journey. God bless🙏🏾
Love seeing the positivity and personal growth and vulnerability. This stuff is very personal at the end of the day and it’s really cool that you shared this, thank you!
I’ve lost over 250 lbs after watching your videos two years ago. Im the only client that my trainer had that has results like this. She gave me the workouts and eating plan but it was my hard work and dedication. Now it’s apart of my lifestyle, no going back!!!
The body that you want comes from a higher version of yourself......man I tell myself one day at a time I am morbid obese in April I was 697 now I'm at 671 tell myself one day at time love your videos
pull up some videos on " Intermittent Fasting " good knowledge to be gained, be blessed my friend
AMAZING video Brix! That reconciliation portion with your former trainer is worth a million. Thx for including that. We need to see men doing more of this. Kudos fam!
It is never too late to come clean and give your flowers bro. Good on you. Well done! True boss move!
Thank you for this bro 🙏🏽
Thanks for the content man appreciate it 🙏❤️
💙💙💙
"Your body can change alot faster than you mind and habits". OH MY GOD!! Wow what an epiphanic moment!! Thanks for your videos.
Thanks Brix, i have 13 weeks till my holiday and I will be starting FINALLY on your 12 week transformation tomorrow, gonna put it to the test
This video was creative AF! Loved the concept and it was dope for you to chop it up with The guy that you got started with in the gym.
💙💙
I started the beginning of July, and today(August 14)... I'm down 41 lbs. I told myself I want to lose 100 before January 2023. I'm getting there. This month I'm not eating no bread, taco shells, or burritos... which is hard for me because I love chipotle and Jersey Mike's.... bread and candy was my weakness. I wish I recorded my body too. Smh.
I hated taking pictures of myself.
This is great!! Keep it up! I'm about to get serious and start my journey to get down 80lbs before the end of the year.
@@focknfree
You got this, bro!!! Just take it day by day, and you will get there. Good luck.
Keep going sir
You were fine AF with the dad bod too 😍
But I get it, trying to operate with extra weight is a drag. Currently experiencing the drag.
The take away for me is....1) meal prep 2) weekly pictures 3) more carbs and protein 4) weigh myself 1 or 2 times per month 5) calorie counter 6) Get on a routine..... AWESOME 😎 VIDEO BRO
Great notes!
and be grateful to those that helped you along the way, do not let attention get to your head!
Bri the most powerful thing about this video is you righting a wrong. That's true growth.
Bro is back!!!!! It's Brix baby. My homie is back
I did a 6 month cutt. Lifted 4 days a week and cardio and abs on off days. I ate between 1700 to 2600 calories. I'm 6' and Starting weight was 275lbs and end result was 194. I lost 80. I was shredded. I started January 1st and by July 8th i hit my mark.
I needed to hear this I’ve lost 8lbs I was 209 my goal is 185 or low 190’s.I’m pacing myself, working out,not eating crappy food, sugary drinks & working out
Keep it up
The best part of this is seeing two men sit and work it out. I hope you guys genuinely mend going forward👌🏿
I'm so glad I came across this video because I was about to start my weight loss journey all wrong. Thanks brother
I dropped 60lbs within a year and I’m happy with my results, I want to drop a total of 100lbs but what was most important to me was more of adopting good eating behaviors. I feel so much in control of my eating habits than ever before.
I love that conversation you had with your boy Mike. Ego can get you, especially when you earned it like you did. I'm glad yall broke that down.
This is very inspirational for me personally as I'm currently working my way out of rock bottom. I'm not quite as big as you are frame wise but my body fat% is probably simialr to you at your worst for my build.
I'm 5'10 so I should probably be around 140-150lbs with not much fat (not counting muscle) but I ballooned up to 215lbs at my worst 💀
I'm sure you'll be able to relate to this: one day I was depressingly looking in the mirror and suddenly noticed something strange, red marks on my stomach I'd never seem before and rhen reaalized I had visible strech marks on my stomach.
🙏🏾
You kept that reflection of your weight loss journey so real. The right people will benefit. Thank you.
You’re welcome. Appreciate you watching! 🙏🏾
Big man thing to reconnect with your brethren!!! Slow and steady!!! To evolve!!
🔥🔥
" the body you want is owned by a better version of yourself" damn.. gave me goosebumps brother !!
nice to see your skin bounced back. always worries me about becoming fit after not being that way for so long.
Thank you 🙏🏾
It has been said that you take your mind with you so true. Low and slow is the winner 🏆 I'll keep learning from you Rob. Thank you 😊
You got this Drew!
I cook a whole chicken in the pressure cooker, only takes 22 minutes and it's the best chicken you'll ever try. Same with veg, it's definitely been a game changer for me.
*I’m on my weight loss journey. I began on January 20, 2023. I started at 321lbs. My goal weight is 180lbs. I plan to achieve this on May 27, 2025.*
I actually started tearing up a bit. Felt like you were talking to me at some points. I struggle with diet.
Going back and reanotating your diary is fascinating and really helpful. Thank you for this.
Starting my journey (at 274) and happy to have videos like this to help me along. Thanks for posting!
Wow insane transformation and very inspirational. Great work
That’s what’s up carnal. I caught a felony and gained a lot of weight from when I was really down on myself. Since NOV of 2022 I started mma fighting like how I used to in high school. Eat great now. I’m 10 lbs away today from loosing 100 lbs.
Without even watching this, I know how you did it. Extreme diet change and extreme amount of fitness.
There is no other way, there's is no secret formula other than dedication to diet, exercise and proper sleep. Great job man, you look fit!
💯
I enjoy this video, it motivated me to start my weight loss journey and share it on RUclips. Thanks my guy 🎉🎉🎉
Always stop and watch your videos. My journey has been an up and down hill battle. Late 2021 I lost 75 pounds. Now at 2023 I’ve gained like 40 pounds back. Struggling on sticking with the cardio and calories, my muscles are starting to get smaller and I’m ready to get back to where I was and beyond. I did 75Hard and passed it but afterwards I kinda slid back to my old habit
Wow that’s amazing on losing 75 pounds!!! Hey it’s the new year perfect time to get right back in it ! The perfect time is now. 🙂 Schedule a discover call for online coaching here. brixtraining.com I can help you get back on track!
Great Journey my man, Keep up the Good work
I'm currently at 297 now and my goal is to reach 240, and Stay active, Fit and in good Shape. but due to suffering from ADHD & Anxiety, I've failed so many of times for 16 years now because I'm not Disciplining myself Mentally.
It's been 16 Years now and I've never accomplish my goals
Dude dropped some jewels on this one. The key is sustainability. Health and fitness is a lifestyle.
Congrats, bro. You're an inspiration. I'm just getting started a 334. Watching this is a big motivation...
This was an awesome video, thanks for this. Most videos are confusing when it comes to weight loss. This was to the point and simple
Thank you!! 🙏🏽
I maxed out at 350 (6'2"). A few years ago I lost 65lb, put it back on, then lost 50lb, found it again. Started again a week ago and I've lost 7lb so far. This time I'm more prepared and more dedicated. 💪
Hey brixx....day 1 im 6"10 315 now....end goal is 245...thank you for the video brother i will definitely be following you and this routine closely
Love brothers forgiving each other truly in tears if joy❤

@@BrixFitness brix im sorry man but I don't believe you.
I honestly do not mean this offensively but I truly believe you was in shape and got fat on purpose so you can put your weight loss journey on you tube.
Can you prove me wrong? If you can then it will not only shut me up and prove me wrong but it will give me motivation to change myself.
@@milo04yeah I was thinking the same thing. There’s something off about all this.
From NFL Offensive Lineman to NFL Safety...Good job!
I totally love the level of masculine accountability!
Real men loving, respecting and honoring one another! So inspirational and empowering!! #newfollower
Thanks Brix
Good video, I like to see the Fat Brix pictures and videos, it shows how far you made it.
I have to admit that Brix was one of the first RUclipsrs I watched about losing weight. I’m currently -80 pounds but lost right at 100 pounds at my lowest. His videos always give good tips and advice, that’s for sure!
💯💯💯
Dope Video!…Real Video!!…ending was a little abrupt but still a good, well needed video!!💯
Thanks for the feedback
"And I hated my entire life as I ate this" I cracked up at this part, hilarious.

Good lessons! For your breakfast I wanted you to add that fruit to your oatmeal and sprinkle with the nuts! And where's the greens that add so much to your sammie?? Get some lettuce and tomato on that! Cooking is a great tip, get yourself a Mediterranean cook book (best diet for heart and brain) cook up some delicious meals. Great video, great lessons thanks for sharing
