I don't know whether it's different on Windows, but I had to select 'VR architecture' and the model, 'de echo, de reverb' to get it to work. 'MDX Net' + 'Reverb HQ' didn't do anything. Result very good though

For the MDX-net model to deverb, be sure to also select “deverb vocals” under vocal splitter options (in the wrench settings menu) otherwise it may not work. I tried it your way too and that worked as well. I wonder though if MDX net doesn’t work on Pc for some reason. Glad you’re here all the same!

You may be able to do it with MDX-net instrumental model (see my video here), but the surefire way is to go under the "choose mdx-net model" drop down and then select "download more models." Under mdx-net, look for these: MDX-Net Model: kuielab a vocals MDX-Net Model: kuielab a other MDX-Net Model: kuielab a bass MDX-Net Model: kuielab a drums MDX-Net Model: kuielab_ b vocals MDX-Net Model: kuielab b other MDX-Net Model: kuielab b bass MDX-Net Model: kuielab b drums You can run those individual models on a track to get the stems you're looking for. What up! I wish it ran real time, but it's standalone and definitely takes a moment to process. I don't even have that crazy fast of a computer and it still is finished pretty quickly. And then once you're done, you're done an you have the file to use freely.

Hey thank you for this video. But I'm having problem on Vocal Split Options. Everything on that window is disabled. I mean I am unable to select / click anything on that window.
@@BradDollar Excellent tutorial Brad, thank you! Quite surprised at how well it's worked on a vocal. Regarding changing the Vocal Split options, I also had the same problem with not being able to select any options. However, I've not needed to select those options, choosing "No Reverb Only" on the main screen and clicking Process was enough for me.
I had the same problem but the software told me what I needed to do. Checkbox Deverb Vocals (also disabled) says this: • This option removes reverb from a vocal stem. - You must have the "UVR-DeEcho-DeReverb" VR Arch model installed to use this option. - This option does not work in ensemble mode at this time. so I went back to Download Center, picked VR Arch, and in the dropdown, VR Arch Single Model v5: UVR-DeEcho-DeReverb by FoxJoy. After downloading that, Checkbox Deverb Vocals and Dropdown All Vocal Types became available.
It's possible you could play with a vocal in melodyne to modify some of the pitch changes, although I don't think you could get rid of the artifacts of hard tuning. Might be worth a shot though!
