I'm curious why you use one int amp as a preamp and another int amp as a power amp? I suppose Luxman on its own doesn't sound as good as the combo here?
That's an excellent rendition of Billie Jean, just superb! Have you compared the Luxman and Yamaha? I'd be keen to hear your opinion on how they sound relative to each other? Cheers
Luxman more refined, very neutral, lots of details in midrange tones and accurate. Yamaha is more enhanced with a hint of sound processing as they are known to be. Yamaha is more warm, Luxman is not. Build quality for Luxman > Yamaha. The front face plate on the Lxuman is about .75 thick vs Yamaha at .25, both are stunning pieces in their own ways.
@@webking185 I have the Yamaha 3200. I heard the luxman 590axii at a store, and I thought it was more lively than the 3200. To me, the Yamaha 3200 is much more neutral to the point of boring by itself
I am having the Yamaha/luxman dilemma 😵, does anyone know how hot they get? I think Yamaha for me as sounds like a bit more treble in it (my system needs it)
@@webking185 I'm wondering if I should buy the 590AX or the S3200. One is about $5000 and the other is about $4300. It is difficult to choose between the two, which one do you think is more excellent and comprehensive
@@好好先生-e What speakers do you have? If you have bookshelves like OP, luxman. If you have bigger speakers with 10-12" drivers, then yamaha will give you more room to play with. You can't go wrong with either. I personally have a-s3000 with jbl 4312.
@@webking185 someone who agrees with me the big Yammies do have warmth 😃 Going to be hard to beat that big Yammie paired to the right speakers I still prefer my Sansui G 8000 over my Yamaha AS-1100 it'll take a 2200/3200 to compete
That's a solid amp but bro not even close. The au series is much more muddy in the mid range compared to these two amps, especially the phono stage (not sansui's strong suit).
@Tajitsu Takeuchi no, they cant, they have "vintage" sound. Its diffrent type of sound then modern amps. Modern sound is more resolution, dynamic - some say its dry but not for me. Vintage sound is more romantic, mellow, slow but it have more "juice"- but for me its only coloration. Only our ear can decide what is better for us !!also modern amps have better soundstage and positioning in soundstage(better resolution). I prefer modern sound. But i know many audiophiles that prefer vintage, peace 🙏🙏
The Luxman L590 is very very good.😎
I agree, I have one, it’s my last amplifier and I’ve had them all. Love it. 🤓
The integral role to this great sound performance resides with the Luxman 590
Great sounds 🎵, Digital Philosophy also has the Elac's and the Technics SB C700's on his demo video. But with different integrateds for demo 👍
I wonder how the sound would be, if the Luxman were the preamp and the Yamaha the amp
Luxman y Yamaha 😍
Yammy - Yammy combo for the win
Hermoso sistema 😍
Very Good👍👍
Why use the Yamaha as a preamp? Why not use the luxman intergated preamp instead?
I agree, doesn’t make sense. 🤔

Why using the yamaha as a preamp ??
Wow ❤ can you share us the singer name please? Your system sounds amazing 👏👏👏
It's Michael Jackson...when you play his music on very expensive stereos, the difference is remarkable!😉

Never heard these two side by side, I think luxman will sound better, but I must admit yamaha looks so good and classy.
Luxman is Neutral, no coloring and detail. Yamaha more warm, color and weight behind the sound.

kindly can you explain to me what are the differences between yamaha and luxman? I would be grateful. which supplement do you recommend?
The speakers are not quite grown for this system combination..
Sounds amazing! Is the sound better using the Yamaha preamp as opposed to the luxman integrated?
Wow! I can't even afford just one of these.
get a job!
@@YouSoundButtHurt Good point!
Get the cheaper Yamaha r-n2000a. I have both the 3200 and 2000 and I like the 2000 sound more
Who’s the artist singing?
Using cd player as a dac I see.....
How do you compare those two amps?
Yamaha more warm and colored. Luxman is neutral and refined.
Yamaha....!
My sansui AU 717 (SPECIAL) WOULD SLAP UP Them amps.
Let me think for a second, lmao...

what's with the crap music doing with these super amps?
Buy your own and try yourself.
