But seriously I will pick croc more than the other two. One the duck wants to be sophisticated fool, two I have allergy so no cats even though its a grass type its still a no for me.
I chose the cat because I like it and also because I really am a fan of the grass type pokemon. Funny enough 6 of the 8 gens I played I always chose the grass starter. The only time I didn't was Gen 2 and 6. Typhlosion and Fraligatr are so much cooler than Meganium also gen 6 has Greninja and nobody else was as cool as it. Though if I had to choose between the croc or duck I would definitely choose the croc because I really don't like pompadour Donald Duck. The hair flipping makes me want to throw up.

Different professors, different legendary and you get primitive vs futuristic forms of some pokemon
Different academy, different professor, different legendary, different paradox pokemon (past paradox for scarlet, future paradox for violet), different exclusive pokemon
Just an excuse to sell two games,a paywall for completing pokedex like usual pokemon mainline games
