Lizzo's replacement for the G#5 was a smart and creative alternative and the same goes for Chlöe's D5 and Tori's Bb5. I appreciate it when singers might not go for the actual note that was in the studio version but they still at least try something and it's also a great way to show off musicality.
Woah Tori’s original Bb5 was insane!! And even her replacement was great! And Mariah and Beyoncé too wow! My faves are Mariah, Beyoncé, Ariana, Perrie, Kelly, Demi, and Tori ❤
I doubt she’ll do that one since it’s a background harmony. Maybe Jessie will end up doing it but Kelly rarely does those like harmonies unless it’s the ending adlibs

Ariana’s whistle isn’t determined on “how difficult it is” its whether she wants to sing the main line & pause for a couple for seconds to do the whistle or just do the main line & seeing how that track was made, it seemed ariana wanted to stick to the main line but knowing Ariana, if she ever tours again, I can see that A6 making a return maybe once or twice before she ditches it

I had a hard time thinking of a song I where they dodged high notes live but you found them lol. Yeah it’s not that difficult to do in head voice like Zara’s studio version was. It’s VERY difficult to belt a Bb5 but in head voice it’s not that hard.

Is she tired from back to back shows on a tour, is she ill that day, is the weather conditions fit for outside singing, is the tech set up correctly where she can hear herself & the music? A lot of stuff factor in singing live.

For me personally i think most of the artists in this videos can be excused because most of this High notes are adlibs on top of the melody line they are singing and you can't sing two things at once so they have to be excused actually for example ari A6 is an adlib and she is singing the chorus too
