I liked and all but how bout when you want more than one color, for example couch green walls yellow and what happens as well when you want a very specific color. I am an architect and it is important to do this things
After learning PS for 7-8 months as a hobby, I can finally understand this procedure. You made that possible. Thank you for giving such a concise explanation and taking the time and effort to go thoroughly through each lesson that you make.
I say this all the time but love your channel because you explain things so well without all the confusion. And you don’t explain things so fast which makes it easy to follow along.
Great tutorial. I appreciate you doing a concise tutorial without unnecessarily switching the camera back to you saying “have a look” every four seconds like other channels do.
Great trick! After you pressed CTRL + Z on 2:50 Hue/Saturation properties reset to default. It was further unclear where this difference in pixels came from, at least for me. Had to rewatch couple of times.
@@FrntRow CTRL+Z did one step back from Colorize to properties with Targeted Color, but photoshop displayed it like every option is default (I mean 0). As far as I understood, first, you target specific color with eye dropper tool, then make a copy of original layer and swith to difference.
Jesus this is FANTASTIC! Never considered using a H/S layer and difference mode to create a mask. This will be great using a solid fill color to match an exact color also.
this didn't work 100% for the picture I worked on, but I definitely used some elements of this trick and made it work. Thank you for teaching me something new!
You are a wizard with Photoshop! Love your tutorials. They are very well-explained, and you go at just the right pace. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us!
I always learn something from your videos. I may wear out the scrub slider, going back and forth, but that's because I am old and slow to learn. Thanks Jesus.
Jesús, thank you for taking the time to explain, in your message to me, the process explained in your video. I am very grateful to you and will watch the video again! Much appreciated.
Hi thank you,. I like that you now highlight what tool you are using so it's easier to follow along. I tried this on a couple of my own images and had some difficulties, I'll try again on a few more.
Knowledge is power, this saves time AND gets great results. How incredibly clever to devise this technique. And generous to share it. Thank you so much, this channel is the best place to keep on learning.
Great tip! Right today I was replacing background that had similar colors like the product on it and I made selection by using channels, mask levels, blending modes, blend if etc. The result is not that bad, but I will try tomorrow again with incorporating difference method. It could help me with those reflections. Perfect timing, thank you! ☺️
I had to hit like even before I watch the video , because you said even if your and beginner you will give chunks in your presentation and Imi faced with a problem with specific color change in my image so congrats PTC !!!!!
Absolutely fantastic! You have no idea how much this gonna change (for much better!) my entire work! Thank you a lot! God bless you and have a nice Christmas!
I saved the video to see it later cuz i am interested to this.and i hit like first cuz your lessons are the best.keep up brother and thx for sharing the tips
Your the man! I always learn a lot from your videos and you do a great job explaining and addressing possible pain points that views may have. So great perception and foresight for knowledge seekers
Well, I think in terms of accuracy they both need adjustment after you apply them. The advantage of this technique is that you have more control because of the number of sliders and the different hues you can target. But it's a more complicated process.
Great video, thanks! Question for you: when you placed the duplicate Background layer on top of the Hue/Saturation layer, the H/S layer shows the Master channel with all the sliders at zero. If that is the case, wouldn't the Difference mode show everything as black, because the was no change to the pixels below it? Or was there a leftover Hue change in the Blue channel of the H/S layer, as you had it before you turned Colorize On and then Off?
Rafael, I made the changes in the BLUES option. The Master remained unchanged (all sliders set to 0). The changes were only applied to pixels with a certain shade of blue, which is why the Difference mode showed some areas in Magenta. I hope this helps!
@@avilesrg I'm glad I searched the comments because that is exactly what happened to me and I was stuck. And apparently still stuck because I am unclear how you made changes in the Blues option - What does that mean. --- I will mess around with it some more and see if I can't stumble onto it.
Great tutorial! I wish somebody at Adobe would program a keystroke overlay a small youtube video on your open document your working on. Then one could execute the tutorial along with your own image.
Hi Jesus my daughter and I love your tutorials. They are all awesome. We can't thank you enough for all that we have learned. In this tutorial, we are a tinny-bit confused. When you duplicated the background did you add any changes that we didn't see. The H/S layer didn't show any changes. It was set to master and all 0's. When you used the different blend mode you said ''if the pixels are exactly the same color it would turn black, if not they would change into a different color in this case magenta. But we see that it was the other way around. Time on video: 3:30. P.S.: Pixels that are the same color are black RIGHT. Time on video 3:42. But the lamp, plant, and pillow are different colors but those turned black in the layer mask. Can you please CLARIFY!!! 🙃🙃😉 thank you very very very much!

I'll try to make it clearer next time. Thanks, Waltan
Me 2, there was a difference in Pixels? I've rewatched and can't see what you did.... It was just a copy of the layer ...?
What was the difference?

Clothing ads too when you see the model in the exact same post for 12 different colors lol 😂
I do use channels to create realistic masks ...very happy to see another application of channels along with blending mode.
