My personal favs were the Freeman Heavy Lumber and the numbered Suzuki MLM, and of coarse the Elly's. Overall I take the Hangers again in the battle.
Hangers have been so good in both series 1 and 2!

I lost track of the heavy lumbers that I pulled out of series 2 but still no lumber in 2024 😢 but will keep hunting 👍🏼👍🏼

One jumbo and a lot of hangers. The hangers have rendered 7 SSP's, a few numbered and 1 mem.
My jumbo had 2 Home Sweet Home inserts. One an auto /10. Jumbo only inserts.
Can't complain about either.
My hobby box had less in it than 1 hanger. Won't be buying another.
Walmart and Amazon have/ had hangers; 3 for 39.99.
Regular hobby is so horrible! That’s awesome you got an auto /10!! Can’t beat that.

Yeah this is the worst year I’ve had for silver packs!!! It’s frustrating. And man I’ve had such good luck with hangers, more battles with them will be posted all next week!

Hangers for the win
So solid this year
I love autos and silver packs hits too much to ignore jumbos. I’m basically going 50/50. So much color etc in hangers. No denying their value. But I’m getting jumbos at $160 after taxes and shipping so tough for me to complain with 2 relics, an auto and 2 silver packs. Again half case of each will get you some sweet sweet cards at a little bit smaller of a price than 1 Prizm hobby box of nba lol
Which honestly too many Prizm boxes are being ripped open and no autos. It’s wild.

Somehow I managed to find a Devers Lumber on top of a sealed hanger pack. No way I'm opening it. Ebayed a year ago and it shows I get 3 views a month.....every month. Same 3 phantom views

I thought that the first printed card doesn't have the black base border. It kinda looks like a stadium club card.
Those are the “true photo” variations. The first printed card will say 1/1 in the back right corner, and Topps forgot to put “first card” near the team logo on the front
In triple A ball, w/ just over 400 ABs, Cabbage was a 30/30 man with an OPS of .975, so he's the real deal. On the downside he was traded to the Astros, so might have limited playing time. Also he's almost 27 yrs old.
Wow those are big numbers, 30/30 is never easy at any level. Appreciate the input!!
