For too long OMG was an overlooked gem in Korea. Many consider their song "Closer" one of the most beautiful K Pop songs ever. You really need to watch it. I have no idea why such a great song went so far under the radar of the finicky Korean public back in 2015 and did not get a single music show win.
Unfortunately, music show wins arent "The best song wins". Music shows help groups get noticed but in the end the wins are just popularity contests. Amd OMG never got really big until after Queendom
Seunghee is the member who's vocals you love in these two mvs! OH MY GIRL is an idol's favourite group. They're loved by many girl groups like LOONA and TWICE I believe.
The Fifth Season is in my opinion one of the most interesting Kpop songs because of the 2 part chorus that has two completely different instrumental and energy. The title songs are amazing. But the thing with Oh my girl is that, their b-sides are insane!!! Songs like God steps (1-step 2-steps), perfect day, I found love, Lies you can see, illusion and Twilight are just on another level

Secret Garden and SSFWL (Fifth Season), had the same lead producer and arranger. He also was the lead producer and arranger on two other title tracks for OMG, "Remember Me" and "Guerilla" (OMG final sing for Queendom). Remember Me and Guerilla are the closet thing to OMG trying a girl crush concept. Remember Me is an EDM sweeping epic timed to a rubber ducky. Guerilla is a dark version of SSFWL. The way I described the two songs might not make sense, but OMG is able to make it work and these are two songs you can't really see any other group pull off.
I would really recommend closer, remember me and windy day.. Oh my girl bsides are the hidden gem esp bsides of dear oh my girl album (dun dun dance)...

But after that, they worked hard and they created better performances, with this epic feeling which is their signature. The second performance of OH MY GIRL in this show (Cover of DESTINY by LOVELYZ), is for me the best performance of this show. The whole show is also really nice (MAMAMOO, (G)IDLE, ...)

The album version is better mixed imo and there's also an official instrumental version so there's that. Glad you enjoyed it! It's one of my favorite K-pop tracks, period.
I think The Fifth Season gave Oh My Girl their first win. It's quite a legendary girl group song. I think older Oh My Girl tracks are quite cutesy with a hint of Red Velvet quirkiness, esp. Coloring Book and Liar Liar. Those are melodies for days as well. Winday Day is a very weird but interesting track. Hope you react to it as well. There's nothing quite like it in k-pop.
