- 87 year old Donna remembers the good ole days by twirling her baton. She was a majorette in high school in Michigan. She decided to show off her moves one day just to show that she still can do it. She even had to yell, "Get out of the way, baby!" Stay out of her way.

In that moment she was transported back to her teen years.. you can see it on her face as she stood twirling that baton - I’m an ex baton twirler, I’m now 37 with 2 chronic genetic disabilities & even after all these years I miss it. It was my piece of escapism from the world. Well done grandma 💗 you’ve still got it. Never leaves you x

It's a lost art. I'm 50 and was the last twirler in my town. Went to State in 1990, 91, and 92. It's like riding a bike. 😊
Awww...I twirled competitively for years... I'm 61, recently ordered a vintage baton & have been practicing. It's great exercise!

I always wanted to learn but II always mess up, I was practicing with a stick but then I lost it and now I can't practice it anymore :(
