"A coffin-dragging gunslinger enters a town caught between two feuding factions, the KKK and a gang of Mexican Bandits, and is caught up in a struggle against them." -imdb.com
The classic Sergio Corbucci western starring Franco Nero that kicked off the series of films.
Luis Bacalov is an Argentinian composer who scored many classic Italian westerns ("Django") and genre films in the 1960's and '70's. His "The Grand Duel" was re-used in "KILL BILL 1", and his "Summertime Killer" in "KILL BILL 2". He's also famous for the great crime rock score of "Milano Calibro 9", and for the romance "Il Postino/ The Postman".
The guitar is probably Alessandro Alessandroni, although it might possibly be Bruno Battisti D'Amario.

The electric guitar soloist of the "Django" soundtrack, composed by Luis Bacalov, is Pino Rucher.
A relevant aspect of Pino Rucher’s musical activity consists in his performances in film soundtracks from the late Fifties to the mid Seventies especially those under the direction of such orchestra conductors as Luis Bacalov, Gianni Ferrio, Elvio Monti, Ennio Morricone, Riz Ortolani.
Congratulations to PINO RUCHER. EXCELENT PERFORMANCE.
Franco Nero, he's the greatest as the original D'jnago!!
" Django "..banane !
sooo epic, i just saw the movie and fell in love with it
Cantada em qualquer idioma, ou qualquer instrumento, é muito boa de se ouvir!
Damn, and I thought the other version was great! This got me in the mood for a spaghetti western marathon. I think I'll start with "Django", then "Compañeros" tonight.
It is on the more recent version of the soundtrack with extra tracks - there are a bunch of extra tracks including the Italian vocal version, and a karaoke (?!) version.
The movie is immortal even without the score. But indeed its a great one
epic song!
VIVA DJANGO FOR EVER!!!!
Django's the MAN!
Nice cover
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAM BAM
THE FOXHEAD SAYS: 5 STARS!!!!!
@walkmanjoe Knowing how much Tarantino loves the Spaghetti Western and how important this film was for that genre it would be a safe guess. Until then I'm going to listen to this religiously so I can play it in my head while the opening credits roll.
La chitarra elettrica solista di questo pezzo è di Pino Rucher, protagonista della chitarra elettrica dei maggiori western all'italiana.
@FiswaT Wasn't composed by Morricone although i will agree with you on that statement
sweet first comment, cool song. What movie is this from?
The out-of-tune piano is perfect for this song. If it were in tune it would be completely impotent.
I got to see an advance screening of Django Unchained, and can CONFIRM that it is!!

Two people will prepare to buy their coffins cause... Django will kill them faster than speed of light!
Two people are dragging their own coffins.

@Dro3089 Hopefully, iv been thinking the same thing
와 찾았다했지만 조금 다르네요.30년전 우리 아버지 테잎에서 들었던 버전이 제일 좋았는데 그것과 가장 흡사하지만 여성 합창소리가 약해서 아쉽네요.
There have been people faster than Django! Lucky Luke is even faster theam his shadow!
We owe you $10.
Thumbs up if you think this song will be the intro one of Django Unchained
Maurício Rodrigues damn u guessed it
Ten bucks says this is going to be in Tarantino's "Django Unchained".
You win!
