Just ordered the Kala KA-BNJ-MHG-C. Was so glad to find this great review! Can't wait till it gets here!!
I think I'm heading to get one too!
Ohhh that maple one touches on my heart strings😌. I appreciate your demonstration! Thanks to your video, I just ordered the black one and feel solid in my decision.😇💪🏾
Awesome, enjoy! Still love mine.
It's interesting. The Mahogany sounds much different to me, more bright and yet old timey. Thanks for the demonstration!
I used to play a 5-string banjo. I think that the black maple has more of a banjo tone. The mahogany has a muted sound, like when you would mute your banjo by stuffing a _cloth diaper_ in the back _(I guess that discloses how long ago that was)._
*Now the real question is,* can I still get a traditional bluegrass sound without the 5th string?
Picking up the black tomorrow! Have it on order for a couple weeks now. Love ukulele 😊
I've seen some head-to-head comparisons, but they are usually just seconds of each, or first one, then the other.
Thanks for realising that we need " the middle bowl of porridge "
Since I want one for older music ( tin pan alley, roaring 20's, and obscene tunes), this was really helpful.
Even if it's a throwaway phrase, it's PERFECT. 😁
Throughout your song the sound of the mahogany really appealed to me more. I was surprised it's so much cheaper. Very nice song by the way.
Just wanted to say ty for the video, i never knew these existed and now im very intrigued. Nice to see something different for a change.
Believe it or not, the Banjolele has been around for quite a while!
Me thinks George Harrison would approve wholeheartedly 😁😎👍
Lets hope so!
I have an old one but it's soprano size. It's hard to find replacement heads (mine cracked open) so I had to order a piece of calfskin vellum to attempt a repair.
Why banjo price so high!!!😞
Cheap banjolele crap.
Good one more.
You go buy cheap now!
You not worthy!!
"Does it Djent?"
Throw some 5ths tuning strings on it and YES. Regular uke strings? Not a chance.
