Thank you so much! (sorry for the delay... I needed to step back for a while, and I'm just catching up on comments.) I hope you've been having fun playing this one. I really really enjoy it.
You're absolutely welcome! I hope the crafting went well! I need to get this game back to the table -- it is so much fun! I just don't really have people in my circle who will appreciate the design the way we do.
Started vid last night before bedtime just finishing up now. Wow! That was a lot of things going. Congrats :) As always, thanks for your time and effort it's very much appreciated.
Thank you for your wonderful playthrough. I have been looking for a great playthrough to understand Whistle Mountain. I have a much better understanding on how moving up the tower works. Initially I was moving it just one square not to the next level. It's been several years since you've uploaded, are you still enjoying it? I got all excited with the red players combos. That's definitely my favorite part. As I have been trying to learn I wasn't seeing the combination. I was just seeing the straight actions. I got Whislte Mountain for Christmas because I am a gigantic Luke Laurie fan. Anyhow, thanks again for taking the time.
One question I have about the rules is whether you can put an airship across multiple machines, or do they have to be on a single machine? I probably missed a lot of details - I'm a little under the weather right now - but I did pick up a couple of things: 59:57 red should have got a second card for buying two machines that turn 1:03:16 what happened was probably legal, but why didn't red use the free build rather than paying 2 water for 2 builds? There's also a lot of routine bad optimisations that I noticed on the way through - for example, blue's last build got him more points by placing his meeple higher, but also got red a significant number of points, so blue only gained 1 point relative to red, while taking fewer points but stranding the red meeple could have earned +4 or +5. But that's tactics/strategy rather than rules, so not really relevant to the video.
So, the machine HAS to be completely on one machine. It cannot be one more than one. Thanks for those catches! I’ll annotate ASAP.... Get feeling better!
Machines not covered by water remain on a waterlogged machine after the water rises. I noticed you took the red piece off after your mistake where it should have stayed on the board.
Wow! That was amazing! You deserve to have more subscribers
Well thanks! I don’t tell anyone.... I secretly love the low subscriber count.... it makes for less negativity and a more personal feel 😀
I have never watched a complete hour in youtube until today, good explanation and great video!

Thank you very much! I’ll try to get that annotated
