when using hand crossbow, i remember seeing in the rules, when rolling 2 dice and make 2 hits you can hit 2 zombies separately.

i read the rules few times trying to grasp some stuff.... Like for example, is it that 1 Zone is 1 action when the heroes move so no dice is rolled...and also doesn't make sense that everyone search the same room and find something, so I took that down because u know, it doesn't really make sense for everyone to find sth...Also for zombie just 1 activation and that's it.... no attack no noting.... which doesn't make sense to me

Hey Tom, I actually only just discovered your channel years after you have started it and wanted to show appreciation to the content you have put out especially on the storage! Your teach on marvel United storage blew me away. And I know I am years late to this video but I wish you well in 2024 listening to what you have said in this video. I also mostly game alone. I am restricted by young children duties so I couldn’t and wouldn’t leave home for social gathering and also conventions. So I spend a lot of time play with myself. I think what I wanted to say is there is no shame on these things. Nowadays games are so well designed that these solo experiences are so darn fun! And also, I tell you my multiplayer experience actually mostly come from bga. Which I think could be helpful as you don’t need to speak to the person. You can find people to play with pretty much anytime. Last I wanted to say, sometimes don’t overthink it, the difficulties in talking to people. I am also a shy person. Sadly I don’t live in Utah or in the states. Else promise you I will happily come over to game with you. And go to conventions with you. Meanwhile take care for now!

This is my favorite thing on the internet right now.

When setting up it should be 1. Place the guard 2. Place the first player piece 3. Place the guard destination dice (i.e. you don't know where the guard is going until you're in the building). It also looks like you didn't remove 6 of the guard patrol cards at the beginning (for a 2 player game).

When you discard cards at the beginning of the game for set up, do they go in a discard pile or the trash pile?

Just got this game. Got lost playing the tutorial and even the Rodney video wasn't enough to make things click. Your Root series (and all you videos) is the best at teaching how to play the game. Very straight forward and your delivery is stress reducing. Thanks for making these.

5 years late, but at 1:16 (and many other times) you can only control a region if you visit or will visit. Here you just rested. So probably would've resulted in more turns and different points. But it's all about the fun though 😁

So just got knights of Avalon pledge and grateful for this to help sort and get going as it is overwhelming! So thanks! Question. The pledge came with item promo cards, they are for sets of items. How do these come into play and where would you store them?

Thanks for making this video. I've never played before. This weekend will be my first time. But it seems to me you didn't really utilize the "make noise" action enough to redirect zombies. That could have probably saved you.

These guys still confuse the hell out of me although your video has really helped. I think i just need to experiment with them so i can internalize the rules. Man i wish i knew more people who were into this game!

I just played a game with that -4 victory point card and it pulled so much progress back for everyone on the table. Its worse when they combo it with other cards to charge it every time its their turn. Effectively -4 points every round.
