Killed him playing with my bro first try today. It seemed hard at first because he kept keeping to the darkness but we finally got him out in the open and used torches, behemoths, barricades and healing beacons to keep him trapped in an area so we could whittle him down. He isn't immune to web bombs which helped us keep him in place while we got our blockers set up!
MyWy, your channel is outstanding, consistently putting out informative and entertaining Demeo videos. I have a lot of experience on Demeo (leveled out at 75 a while ago), but I still learn something in every one of your videos. In this video, I didn’t realize the Rat King was susceptible to web bomb. To get a challenge, I have been trying solo runs vs the Rat King. I’ve mastered winning with the Hunter (At first, lots of poison to accumulate cards and then lots of Lures and a huge Beast army), but I have yet to beat the Rat King solo with anyone else. Any other Demeo challenges you’d recommend or advice going solo with other characters vs Rat King?
That's appreciated. I don't think I can help you with challenges - you're already soloing the Rat King, whereas I like an easy win using as many exploits as I can remember ;-) I assume you've tried Naked Run mod and things like that.
Great boss for barbarian mains
I’ve heard about a “lure lock” being used on the Rat King level but never did it myself.
I thought the Bard was a good character for the rat king as he helps with the horde of minions. But I have only beat him once while playing the sorcerer and once using the rouge.
