It’s a great idea to make use of the sketch pen refill as water preserver. I watched many videos about DIY stylus and all of them had to use water but keep dipping the stylus in a cup or something. No one introduced a similar idea on youtube

For people having markers without holes : take a pin and safely heat one side with a lighter , stove, match etc
When the one side of the pin is hot quickly insert the pin through the marker where you want the hole.

Actually our smartphone screen works on earthing like potential. We can only operate our smartphone screen when our any of the body part is in contact with ground. Similarly stylus also need some ground level potential/ energy, so water is used and most important is the copper wire, used to carry very very very small electrical energy from smartpone's screen to earth using stylus.
This is the logic here.

@@okthen716 You can't scratch the glass with a sketch pen. Sketch pen is a softer material compared to glass. Even plastic can't scratch glass.

A small tip- just take a sketch then wash the tip then throw the refill of it in dustbin take a copper wire then open the back cap and throw a bot of copper wire and close the cap then throw it in the hole near the tip(if you don't have the hole in your sketch pen just heat a safety pin then quickly make a hole in your sketch pen) cut the extra wire then dip the tip in water then you get your stylus enjoy

you dont need any of them just take the riffil and nib out of the sketch pen put the in bowl full of water leave for one night, next day you will find it just as clean shown in the video

I just used an aluminum pen with a dry ink cardridge and poured some water inside to make a rehydrating capsule. But this video was the inspiration. Thanks

I made a rather simple stylus for I didn'0t have the wire. So I took the sketch pen and covered it with silver foil, then added wet cotton to the tip and it's working
