No I didn't. I only knew how to say hello 😂 I'm still in the process of trying to learn the basics to get me around. Google Translate has been my fighter in most situations
There's a few agencies that you can use, so it's not a link as such but I made a video about that. It is on the channel. But I use Pheonix Group Asia which you can find on Google
Which is the best time of the year to apply? When are their schools beginning, and when can I start the process of applying if I want to start at the beginning of their term or year?
I'm sorry for the late reply. So theere are 2 big intakes. One is in September and another one is in February. Of you haven't started applying I'd suggest you start preparing so that you start in the February intake. But they do hire even during the year
Hi Thank you so much for your video. I really wanna teach abroad. I have been trying Portugal but haven't been successful, i been thinking about Thailand b4 i came across your video. So now, im like hhmm maybe Taiwan. I would love to talk to you, i have some questions to ask. I have worked as a teacher for so many years but resigned. I wanna ask you about VISA application, working hours in Taiwan, level of racism and how they treat you there. I was so hurt one day seeing a video of one of SA teachers in China with a swollen eye, (bamushaya emsebenzini) and she had to come back to SA.
It's taking me some time to adjust to some things. But because we get a lot of veggies and I'm trying to stay healthy I focus on that 😅 but it's really not what I'm used to
Yho glad to hear from someone who had left left their permanent job in government. I am in the same situation I want to leave my permanent job for teaching English. How can I get hold of you? I want to ask a few questions
Does any schools in Taiwan offer to pay for flights? Do all schools provide a housing allowance? Thanks for the info!😊 S.A Cape Tonian currently teaching in Cambodia!
Public schools do reimburse you for flights after probation. I'm not sure about private schools. Housing allowance also comes with public schools mostly.
Thank you for subscribing 🙂 well it looks like the school is a legit private school here. I guess the decision whether to accept or not should be based on the contract. If you feel the offer is good than go for it. If not than keep applying
Hey! What about someone with no degree in education but something else? I’ve got a masters degree. No true experience teaching, but tutored some first years at my university. Do you think I could qualify?

Hey. Yes, I'm on the same contract. Basically they will spread your 18/20 classes across the schools (maybe 10 on each school or somethin) . You may have to go to the other school for some days but the main school will be in charge of most things. I hope you get me

Update: Labor and Health insurance are about 1000 NTD each not 600 NTD each. My school was deducting less by mistake 🤦🏽♀️ it has since been corrected
