It is nice to hear your story. 😢❤ I stumbled on Brians channel as well, knowing after watching for a while I had seen him somewhere. It was after i talked my husband into watching with me that we figured it out. It was the Discovery Channel thing that he did. My husband is NOT a snake or a youtube person, but he really enjoyed watching Brian, and because Brian mixes it up and made it fun and educational, my husband soon expected to watch, just like one would watch the nightly news. Unfortunately, this hit a little hard in a sense of several years ago, my husband's mom was diagnosed with what started as cancer of the appendix but eventually they called it stage 4 colon cancer. She had 3 surgeries, chemo and radiation, but only lived about 6 months from the time of diagnosis. Seeing Brian go downhill brought back many hard memories. Im glad you have these fantastic memories. That was important when my mother in law got sick. Make sure the kids had extra memories, make the most of the time. We like long hair. My family (im the only girl) are a bunch of headbangers...🤘 Both of my adult boys grow their hair long. My husband unfortunately cut his for work years ago. I can understand how hard it was to cut it. Brian was an angel for all animals and to people. His hair didn't make him who he was. His heart did. He had so much patience and passion. He was one of a kind. Watching these videos that people have been putting out, im seeing and hearing the same thing. He was a treasure. You are blessed to have had him as part of your life....not just watching from the other side of a screen. Thank you so much! And also for sharing!! Yes Venom Hunters was the tv show he was apart of wayyy back when! I am sorry this brought back hard memories unfortunately i can relate. I had lost a great uncle 10 years ago to cancer that he discovered was spreading throughout him just from a simple checkup he had for something completely unrelated.. it’s hard times wrap your head around when these things happen but it has definitely made me continue to appreciate and set out to live the life i want to live. Appreciating all and who are in it. But yes the memories and friendship will always be with me as life goes on. Brian will continue to inspire me among many others out there to follow their passions and to simply be kind to others.

Nice to know your experience knowing Brian. Brian was the reason how I found you on RUclips. For my experience knowing him I only knew of him from his channel since fall of 2022 and I liked him enthusiasm and passion for reptiles, it's unfortunate what happened to him but it's good that his impact inspires many people of the hobby.
Thank you and it’s so cool to think for me and so many to think just how many people we have come to know just because of him he definitely has caused quite a chain of events in such a positive way for so many!
