had a flyrod delivered by ups a few years ago - it came in a protective storage tube that was packaged inside a cardboard tube. when i came home and found it on my step, it was lying on the ground and step at the same time and was bent in the middle as though the delivery guy literally laid it there and stomped on it. the rod was of course broken in multiple places - either the ups guy delivered an obviously broken parcel or he crushed it himself intentionally on the step. nice huh?
