Personally I enjoyed the cafe section the most - I'm still super timid about drawing in public, so watching other people do it is always a confidence boost.😊

Good 'see you' again, Maggie, and I love seeing the inside of the cafés folk - including you - visit for their sketching, Finances, being very specific about how I have my tea, and being allergic to coffee / chocolate means I've only visited two since I moved here, but it's _sooo_ expensive, even as a treat! The café I went to for a meeting with a friend charged 8€ ($8,64) for a glass carafe of warm water and green tea, and I was told to leave it to infuse for eight minutes. We were sitting outside and it was early April ... 🙄 I don't like green tea anyway but the others on offer weren't 'real tea', either but tisanes. The other café I went to with visiting friends had more 'normal' teas and more 'normal' prices but tables were packed too close for people sketching. Solution? Through the outdoor months (Usually April - late October), I settle myself a little distance away and my ready-made life class is there in front of me. 💃 I have flasks and lunch box with me, so that's also solved! November - April? I wrap up warmly and focus on other subjects. The people sketching is a 'treat' at the end to 'sweeten' the preceding selt-taught 'lessons' in urban sketching here! 😄 In the UK, there was a local bookstore-with-café where the tea was acceptable, and their lemon muffins were ... very tempting... I didn't go there a lot, but my old sketchbooks suggest that I had a happy time when there! Pens: I only watch pen videos because it's you, and your pens are pretty, but honestly, they really don't interest me very much, so will probably pass them by and wait hopefully for more art. 😊
i've stopped (or maybe paused, only time will tell!) collecting pens so watching ur vids make me able to live vicariously through you! yay! :D thank you for showing us close ups, i always appreciate the beautiful details~

When you showed your new silver Leonardo in the case with 3 golds, you liked the designs together but held back because there would be 3 golds and 1 silver outlier. Why not live dangerously, and form a pattern? Kick out one of those golds and form a pattern. Gold silver gold silver? Or my personal fave, matching on the outside, matching on the inside. Who knows? You might end up addicted and begin wearing one gold, one silver earring!
