There are dance teachers and then there are dance professors and masters. Dancesport needs both, because it requires very different teaching methods and styles to teach those at a very highly advanced technical level, which is what we see here and what Mr Salsberg is renowned and sought after for and then another style more easily understood by those dancers at more modest levels. You go to this man after you have spent years learning how to dance and you are at the point of needing to perfect it. I have great respect for the great teachers at all levels because they are both equally skilled.
Joe Testa You are so Right and it takes knowledge to fully understand some of the concepts Espen refers to. I so look forward to uploading the routine he creates and how many couples will take pieces to add to their own rumba routines. I really loved the simple yet clever means of choreography. Let me know what you think once I get in on the channel 👌🏻
Rumen, I will be happy to espouse my humble pinion. Looking forward to seeing it. This is where You Tube is invaluable. In my dancing days you didn't have access to this kind of information and FREE! Especially from the Mr Miagi of dancesport. Back then we paid for every bit of info we got and had to search hard for it. Not sure if young dancers really fully appreciate the advantages they have given to them today through videos like this. If they don't I'm happy to let them know. Great work. Cheers.
I had the privilege of taking dance lessons from Espen Salberg in London in the 1980s. It was the very best dance experience ever and it helped me to achieve good results at dance competitions nationally and internationally. Greetings from a long retired competition dancer from Belgium.
That would be great but....Espen is booked super in advance, also doenst reside in Bali anymore. I highly reccomend attending his next camp its the best way to get his incredible knowledge of dancesport.
The spin moves its self without propulsion ?? hmm I'm skeptical, please anyone enlighten me on my failure to understand ...from all dance branches @@DanceToday
