A Fun Way to Practice Chords and Inversions

All you need is a couple chords and a funky beat to practice like this! Step one is picking at least two different chords and it doesn’t matter which two. Next step is to create a melody based off the top note of your first chord. After that, it’s all about experimenting. Try to move through inversions in the left-hand while continuing the melody in the right hand. You may start without a beat to get a good feel for it, but ultimately the goal is to be able to play music!
