Then, after being inspired by a voicemail, they listen to some “Pure Retro Rockin’ Rock” and talk about the process of producing a sketch for “The Man Show.”

The balance is really good with this permutation of guests at first and third base. Erica doesn't try to prove how funny or smart she is and rolls with correction. Mayhem does well with the multiple tasks at that chair.

The ability of your ears to hear high notes diminishes over time. If you take care of your voice you should be able to keep your range for the most part. Like any muscle they have a limited lifespan. Singing high for a long time does not ruin your voice. Not taking care of your voice does. Rest is probably the most important thing it needs. Tea with honey and lemon is better than alcohol. All of you have to do is look at Ronnie James Dio (RIP) or Rob Halford from Judas Priest. Rob is still hitting highs at 72 years old and is on the second leg of a tour for the new album, their 19th. Judas Priest was making albums before the kid in Journey was born. Maybe he's smoking, drinking or doing drugs? He shouldn't be talking between shows if his voice feels strained. Maybe he's been singing above his natural range? DMC from Run DMC lost his voice because he was straining it for years. It never came back to where it was when it healed.
