Tomboy is one of the best songs for me and lightsum did such an incredible job. I think I became Sumit. I already was a huge predebut fan of juhyeon, chowon, yujeong, nayoung (i loved produce 48 a lot). All the members are great and charming.
I never See mamy groups covering (G)I-dle songs but probably it's because when Soyeon writte this songs she always creating this especially for her member voices, so it's probably not easy for other groups to cover (G)I-dle so defenitly props to lightsum because they also did cover of "oh my God" before

And very on-brand for Cube, which historically went more girl crush than other labels.
I know the broadcasted stages are filtered so that the crowd doesn't scream over the artist's voices but can you hear the screams as soon as the chorus drops even after it was filtered? That's (g)i-dle impact for ya! Congratulations Lightsum you did amazing in this cover!
As a diehard Gidle stan, I think this is the best cover of Tomboy I've seen so far. Will definitely check Lightsum's music. Who is the blonde at 3:20? She is fierce!

On BTOB kiss the radio this comeback, Yujeong got a lot of praise for her improvement in vocal skills. I think she underestimates her abilities. This song is great for Sangah, who is very outgoing.

I wouldn’t say they rocked this stage, but they can pull off this concept, which isn’t surprising since they’re Cube artists afterall. Many female trainees probably joined Cube for 4minute and they were known for their fierce concepts. I always felt Juhyeon and Chowon had trouble fitting into their group’s bright concepts. With the maknae removal, I think it’s quite clear this was a ploy for them to test the audience reception and since people were receptive to them trying a bolder concept, we can probably expect something different from Lightsum with their next comeback. Fingers crossed they’ll shine through with the next one as they haven’t been charting well with the last 3. On another note, Sangah is really a star performer. She’s so versatile and effortlessly shines through different concepts. She’s also a good dancer and a decent vocalist, I can imagine her popularity skyrocketing if Lightsum achieves success with their next song.
