LIGHTSUM nailed this concept, song and choreo - it just feels like it was meant for them!!
This is definitely a shift in the right direction and feels more like LIGHTSUM's identity. I loved VIVACE so much but it felt very IZ*ONE even though it is still a bop.

Honestly objectively, if you look at the CORE CORE members of Lightsum (Chowon, Sangah, Juyeon), They exude major girl crush type of energy. Cube just decided to push this cutesy bubble concept onto them like how they pushed CLC to be cute at first too.
CUBE really want this Cute concept to work for for their company guess.
There’s no way someone can look at sangah, chowon and juyeon and think “ oh I’m gonna let them debut with the cutest debut song ever” wtf??? I was so surprised when they debuted with Vanilla. Yes they did great, but this isn’t a matter of doing great or not, it’s a matter of whether the concept fit them. CLC did cute concepts really well too but did it fit them and their image? No, out of the 5 original member, only Yujin really suited the cutesy image that they debuted with
Sure Nayoung and Yujeong can pull off a cute and bubbly concept but I think we can all agree that the Core 3 members are more suited to do stronger concepts which Nayoung and Yujeong have no issues digesting too. We all saw how well they did when they covered Gidle’s Oh My God and Tomboy.
