Thanks but NO thanks. The center pivot of most pullers ruin the slip ring (copper piece where the brushes ride). There's no shaft on the very top to center on. From the years we've been doing them, we used a slide hammer for awhile, but it's a cumbersome set up for a production environment. Now, we made a jig for our press, but who has that ?? Not something we recommend the average person to do. Diodes are very commonly (99%) re usable. Changing them on this particular type is complicated and causes problems.
I have a dodge ram that has the issue where is slips in and out of lockup at a 50mph forums all seem to suggest that the issue is a bad alternator diode putting out noise being the cause and getting them replaced what's your thoughts on this ?

Check vehicle grounds and ALL fuses. Get diagram. Voltage regulator is in computer.
Should of used a puller for that bearing it'd of been a little easier

How come you didn't replace the front bearing that's the one that's bad on mine half the job you did
