simple correction. Ship upgrades are return upon ship destruction. Also for safty all schematics have added floating so you wont lose them. More updates to mod coming soon. Mostly QoL stuff but later on there are other plans for this mod as other of my creations.

Nice one man! I think it might add a lot of work for you but something interesting to do in your mod reviews might be to compare multiple mods that do similar things. For example, in this review you could have compared 1) Balrond Shipyard, 2) ValRaft, and 3) Boat Additions since they all do similar things.
I was considering that route for several of these reviews. What it came down to was a matter of function.
ValRaft has been giving me trouble for ages now, even with the recent updates. CustomShips is a great concept, but I never got the boat to actually work. BoatAdditions is one that I've clicked on, but there was something at the time that said "not yet".
These mods also have so much to offer, it's really easy to have each in a standalone video.
Any suggestions for a head to head between two similar mods?
@@Ruijven-1 You know I thought about this a bit more and I think a big challenge of doing a comparison review is to make the mod authors upset if you favor one or the other. Sadly it does seem to be the case that some of the similar mods in the community will speak negatively of each other. If you do end up doing this kind of review maybe instead of doing a head to head comparison it could be like a mod that offers something similar but without all the features.
For example, I've played around with a few different set ups for inventory and chest management. I was using AzuAutoStore and AutomaticFuel for the longest time but found that it actually degraded performance quite a bit so instead now use MouseTweaks and CycleChest to get a similar speed of storing items.
This kind of comparison because while these mods are solving a similar user problem they are doing it in a different way.
@@jneb748 I appreciate the idea! That was my original thought a while back as well. I don't like pitting mods head to head because rarely are they exactly the same - there is always something different.
It's also a reason I've started talking more about as much fact as possible, rather than just saying "here's a great mod". There are some that I keep on my own game, but many times I do a review and then remove the mod, just because I don't really need it. I've enjoyed so many, though, and it's been great to get a quick glimpse at these and showcase the mod creators a bit.

Sadly been looking for mods for my ocean exploration adventure map I'm working on because raft is pretty much broken. This looks great.
I've had a blast using this one.

@@jaycollins2036 I've been watching a few of the videos, and WOW, that thing is awesome. Considering there is so much to explore on that adventure map, I doubt I'll be doing a full Mod review like my others.
On a much MUCH smaller scale, I've been creating something of a similar concept for myself and my kids to play on, and will be starting a short series on how that looks and why we have it the way we do. That will incorporate some of the same mods, but not nearly to the extent that the RPG map has achieved.

Can you go back and forth with using mods? Can i just install it on my dedicated server and play for 20 hours, and if i dont like it just remove it and still dont mess up my world?
I've never had an issue removing a mod. Whatever you build or make using the mod will disappear, though.

Tbh, I had to look that one up. Apparently the symbol is used in modern times by white supremacists. I will change the cover thumbnail as soon as I can.
For historical reasons, I assumed this was the Odin Cross or Celtic cross, which I am somewhat familiar with.
