The Bears under Ryan Poles, in my opinion, has a very high ceiling and a low floor. Assuming things were under RP’s control, the signing of Swift instead of Henry, for the same money, showed a low floor & though it’s great to have the receiver room that the Bears have, the need to shore up the OL has been evidently paramount for over 2 years now. In the words of Vince Lombardi, “What in the world is going on out there?”
You can’t make somebody come to the team players go where they want to go Henry wanted to contend were not contending for a Super Bowl this year
I just don't know what Chris Morgan has ever done to deserve being retained .
This has been a problem for decades which means it's the general manager (mostly) and the head coach combination.
I think we need to blame every GM and Head Coach we ever had that did not make the O-line a top priority for every quarter back with talent that eventually became a bust

That OL was atrocious (Jmarcus Webb, nine sacks in the first half of a Giants game concussing Jay, etc)
Bears were top3 in rushing in 2022 and 2023, in large part due to JF, buuuuut Chris Morgan credited with the run blocking schemes working as well; Take that how you will 😂

I agree that Jenkins & wright are good together. So pryor has to come in at LG so that maneater mentality stays at the position besides Braxton. Something has to change or Caleb is going to the IR.
I think his hands is full because not making a move to get Davis out of there and moving Jenkins back to right guard has to be coming from the higher ups

The NFL has these little things called contracts . Fields was getting close to where a decision had to be made. He sure as F didn't deserve an extension and there was no possible way any sane person could pass on a top QB pick for TWO years in a row. There's no way you wanted him around WITH a new rookie QB either. He had to go. You also should know that NOT ONE TEAM wanted Fields as a starter. Not one. He's starting now because Wilson is hurt.
That's the issue with the Bears franchise. Guys, like O linemen come up for pay and management gets a stuttering problem. Everyone online tells usit was a good thing to keep teh O line coach to maintain continuity and that Nate davis was a good FA pick up.
Now you want to complain? but last year it was all Justin's fault. Which one is it gentlemen?
Huh? What linemen did the Bears ever let go because they didn't want to pay him? All the Bears linemen get cut or they let them walk.
Pass protection has been a problem for years. There's something off when an NFL offensive line can't pick up stunts on a regular basis. That's a coaching issue. Morgan has bounced around for a reason. He needed to have been gone.
Bear's management, as they always do, failed to prioritize building an OL. Can't blame Morgan for not having any talent to work with. Even with the scrubs we have, he got our OL blocking the run at a top level. Darnell Wright is the only top round pick we have on the line, ffs! 🤦♂️

I've survived cancer (so far) and a nearly fatal car accident. Football is just for fun. If the Bears don't win it's not the end of my world.

The Bears 🐻 big mistake is on Poles 2 draft ago. There was 3 great college centers on the board and Poles decided to drop down in draft and toke Tyler Scott. How's that been working for ya
