Not one mention of the problem, Chris Morgan. He's not developed any of our Olineman simple. He's been fired at every job he's had. Since he's been the bears' oline coach, he's top 2 at giving up sacks & number 1 at giving up pressures. He's actually a disgrace
I mentioned the same thing the other day. 2022, o line sucked, 2023 they added a couple guys and still sucked, and now added more and it sucks probably worse than it did in 2022. Some degree of problem has to fall on coaching
You can't Change Center when you've built No Repetition between the Starter and QB. They needed to play this offense alot more this preseason. Get Reps for guys. The snap count, hand off, all that, we do Not look good. Unless you're trading for a James from Oakland, a Star Center, ok, then you start over. But the QB is Not getting the 🏈 smooth from the Center. And Bates was worse at it 😅
Yea, because the O-Line looks weak …is it their work ethics or the scheme or the coaching? We’ll find out in the next handful of games where the D-Lines we’re facing aren’t as good as the Titans or Texans
Chris Morgan is busting out his old rolodex looking for someone who can give him advise on how to coach a line. If I were Ryan Poles, I would personally sit through practice watching Morgan coach. He would be under a microscope. Chris Morgans heart and intelligence is now being questioned!!!!!
Morgan is a premier OL coach, fam. I don't think it's him. He can't help players that don't show up to practice, nor does he call the offensive plays. If Waldron would have been calling power run plays with additional blockers during the second half, I think things might have ended differently. We abandoned the run game. We played from the gun more than under center. Where was Marcedes Lewis and Roshon Johnson? They even on the team anymore? Oh wait RoJo got bunched in the head and we didn't even let him get payback... 😒
As to getting other guys involved in the online.. Supposedly Flus already had his competition at all spots to find the best combo of 5 during preseason. He already knows how Kramer and every other guy looks at that position. Here's the thing. We had 4 of 5 of these guys starting last year with a better(albeit not good) result. It's not the guys. It's the blocking scheme and Flus's precious system he's always preaching about following.
When Thayer says to Jurco, “you know, you were a freakin’ defensive lineman”….. that’s about as strong of words that man will use, and you know he’s pissed!
If Thayer is calling it out than it's Truth 💯. Olin isn't thrilled with what he's seeing either. Their O-line coach needs to put a foot in some backsides or something.....

It was quite entertaining how the sports commentators here in Chicago tirelessly pushed the anti Fields narrative and the fans slowly but surely coalesced. But not all of us…
Justin Fields was pretty much their whole run game. I wanted them to keep him and get a haul and build around him. They didn't though. A lot of people got over it and maybe you should too.
Explain this to me. How is it that the O-line has 4 out of 5 of the same starters that we had last year and the same coach, yet we cannot seem to run the ball, something that we had success with last year?
Shelton is a fully motivated center? He was getting run over on every play! Motivation won’t replace lack of strength or ability. Is there any accountability for the coaching? Waldron was promised to be the answer and he’s not calling to strengths of his players.
The offense ran plays that never work in practice in the game. You can tell the offense didn't believe in the plays. Just like last year. I mean I'm questioning is Eberflus the reason they run trash plays that don't work in practice in a gam??? Those are the same trash plays that didn't work in the Preseason.
