Here is my personal take about the hot and cold thing as a Sun & Venus in Aries- I do a lot in the beginning but, the attraction completely fizzles out when my efforts and feelings aren't reciprocated. I've not seen people mention or notice aries venus 'regulating their attraction' before, but that's absolutely what I do. When I'm very interested in someone I make sure to draw back so that I have a clear head and don't ruin a good thing by rushing in before I'm sure/ without appreciating the person entirely instead of just as a conquest - which is in my nature to do. I'm trying to give the relationship the best chance of success, make sure it's built on stable foundations and to avoid quickly losing interest and hurting someone I respect who is not so fast to fall out of love.

I have this same problem. I get very enthusiastic in the beginning of relationship but I am mortified on the idea of settling down. I just can't imagine having to deal with all the quirks oddities and annoyances of every day life with a person. It just feels so final. Then I start to feel trapped and I waste no time disappearing. This is sooo spot on for me. Pisces Sun, Aries Venus. I value my independence within relationships and I actually fear losing myself in a relationship. I also don’t look forward to “stability” in relationships; the mundane is not appealing to me. I even wonder how I can navigate regular daily living with a spouse because it sounds so booooring. I think Venus in Aries don’t exactly express themselves in an Aries way, that would be Mars in Aries. Venus in Aries is just how they approach their desires and what they desire (probably in relationships as well).

Honestly, we’re not always into this cat and mouse game. It can be fun or curious maybe once or twice but then if you’re seasoned enough, you get what’s going on and realize it’s a mind game when you’re just genuinely being yourself and makes us back off a bit more than keep our interest. I think the “act disinterested” thing has a time limit. Especially since we are upfront with our own interest (yet do burn out and lose interest quickly, not even sure how that works for us myself). Im a Pisces sun, Aries venus and really didn’t relate to most of this. The hot and cold thing is super inaccurate for me, I don’t like competition when it comes to love or dating what so ever and if I sense that I have to compete in anyway I will lose interest, I am definitely much more of the “You’re mine and i’m yours” type, i’m not the type to initiate first, I let other people approach me (the “Hey we should be friends” to a random girl in the bathroom thing is not me whatsoever lmao). I mainly only related to the fun loving part. Did any other Aries Venuses just not really relate?
