The shape of the dried block is strangely aesthetically pleasing
Also been watching for a while now, love your videos!

Thanks for watching! I agree, there's something kind of compelling about the color and the shape of these.

Excellent review! I had the Cup version and good call on the noodles being similar to MAMA's.

I noticed the spice too. I loved these noodles. The spice was just enough to tickle the edge of my lips after I slurped them and I love onions. Next time I think I’ll use half the seasoning though 😅

Very interesting! I've had some Acecook products before, but I've only ever had their Japanese products.

I'm itching to try their other varieties after this. My local store has their pho and tonkotsu bowls, but not much else aside from these Hao Hao noodles. Is there an Acecook product you'd recommend?

@thenoodlejourney All the Acecook products I've tried were when I was using the ZenPop ramen subscription boxes, so I just ate whatever they sent me. I ended up canceling because I couldn't eat them faster than they were shipping them (it was 7 per month and I also had noodles I'd bought locally to eat too), but all of the Acecook ones I'd gotten during that time were pretty good. A lot of ZenPop offerings tend to be limited edition though so I don't know what I've had that would still be for sale...

I was here to check if the oil was supposed have a bunch of white lumps in it. I take it it's not.. throwing it away. 😂

Temperature changes during storage can cause fat lumps to form in the oil packets. If you can massage them out with your hands and don't smell anything rancid when you open it, you're more than likely okay using it.

@@thenoodlejourney alrighty, good to know! These noodles were disgusting regardless though, so I don't think I missed much. 😆

@Uncouth Haha, yeah, I didn't want to say, but they're not great.

This reminds me of the super cheapo Indian made ramen at my local Patel Bros. store. However, those are awful, and very weird tasting, regardless of the flavor. Take care.
