Pro tip: as a pliarys main myself, try not to overuse breath, if at all. I like to only use it when fliers either start running or get off the ground. I also like to use it in increments whenever possible
I think Tauro is a better anti-flier lol mostly because it has defensive paralysis that stops fliers on their tracks and shock area and breath. Plus the weight and damage to snap fliers in half.
It does quite a bit of dmg, does 3 ailments, miasma/haunt breath (iirc), keen, healing pulse, and can go invis. Downside, it's slow on ground and only has decent speed in air, and has horrible stamina (especially on ground as it's Regen is worse than it's glide Regen)

Anti mosquito creature belike
geoptxina is also very good anti-flier, it has crestal breath and tail whip damage over 600+

Sadly Pliarys in Legacy have defensive Paralyz but it turn to crystal breath anyway i think it was better
