EA making anything but a battlefield game
We need a different publisher to come along and make a BF4 clone. Next gen graphics, dynamic capture points (gimme flags disappear when a team is dominating you could even levolution the flag away), and make it so you can't repair the AA. Whoever does that makes $$$$.
Are'nt EA developping a huge battlefield ? It's pretty clear that they put all of their effort on this next game

@@usadefcon1 I think that was the purpose of WW3 but that game never really got the publicity it (in my eyes) deserved.
No one has ever asked for anything new, we just want the old ways back were the devs actually had passion and made a quality game out the box. BF4/BF3 style is all anyone wants.
I agree, but this does look good. There is nothing wrong with trying new gamemodes. I never had a problem with that, quite the opposite, its good to play something fresh from time to time.
i agree but i always wanted an 8 vs 8 or 16 vs 16 bomb plant /hostage rescue no respawn like socom 2/socom 3 with clan wars and a lobby system

this mode has a lot of potential to attract new players. ive had no interest in 2042 as a long time cod player, but between mw3 running its cycle and xdefiant being a let down in terms of net code, i see a potential gap in the market. albeit a temporary one.

So long as they actually make a real Battlefield game for the next one which I am being cautious about and take the good things they learned over 2042 it will be good. First Strike is actually a good game mode and it is fun.
This game mode is optional. Conquest and breakthrough are still available.

The experiment failed. Like with flying fucking colors. Not sure why they're still holding on to this one. Bf5 actually got good and they abandoned that one.
So scared for the next game because if it sucks, we will never have another game again
Hey man, don’t want to be a Debbie downer. But I don’t think you should have any hope in it. Let me just help you out. Buy a PC if you don’t have one and play battlebit and Isonzo. They are actually fun and they skratch the itch that battlefield had for me.

Because they know like 2042 he'll push the product for them as has no integrity. He did the same with 2042 before launch while the honest reviewers etc were silenced.
@@Got-2B-Saidjack definitely has been honest about 2042. I think it’s well documented already. 2042 is not a bad game in my opinion, it had a terrible start but as of today it’s pretty good.
BF4 on ps4 is still very popular and has literally reignited my passion for gaming over the last 6 months.

BF3 had the most interesting shotguns. USAS-12 and 870 MCS were unstoppable

there's a lot to love about bf3 (it is my favorite), but the shotguns were broken in that game. ESPECIALLY the ones you mentioned. it was mad annoying get sniped by a 870mcs slug. just because they were op doesn't make them interesting lol
Model 10 A Hunter in BF1 was king for me, such a beast
BF4 M1014, which is modeled after the Benelli M4 Super 90, was my favorite shotgun.

Idk man, I've been playing BF4 like crazy lately, and it was the first one I ever played way back in 2015.
BF1 really pulled me away from CoD and BF5 was alright...i dont think ill ever miss it really.
But I've found a new love for BF4 that also makes me understand the divide that started in the community over Bf1.
I understand so much differently. I love BF1, but it was massively different from BF4.
Yup it became less and less about team work when you could skip to the respawn screen instead of having to wait and possibly getting revived
i'd play bf4 but punkbuster hates me and kicks me from every lobby after a couple minutes. no idea why. even done a fresh windows install. doesn't give me any errors, just "punkbuster has removed you"

@@ki11atj49You wouldn’t respawn quicker (it is marginally faster because you can select location before the timer ends), but would allow you to AVOID being revived if you wanted to change locations or loadout. Not exactly the smoking gun you think it is. There was plenty if not MORE teamwork in BF1 than BF4. The UI and QOL features were more teamwork friendly and Operations was by far the most popular mode (which had more teamwork involved in a win than any BF4 conquest game).
BF2042 is so boring that even the bots stopped playing the game.

So I get it, they are trying to appeal to fans of games like Valorant and The Finals because they want to take the money from the those other companies instead of getting their fan base back that played BF because it was different than COD and the others. Instead of listening to their fans they say "ooooh, look at all the money Valirant and The Finals is making." Let's do that with a BF skin.
BF4 had a demolition style squad based game mode with rounds. BF3 had squad rush which was another round based with limited tickets and was used in diff ladders back in the day for comp stuff. def not a first for BF but hey at least they are trying to make something worth playing eventually.

Last time I saw a one life game mode in battlefield was in hardline.
Makes no sense that there isn’t more 1 life game modes for battlefield.. most people I know that play CoD play search and destroy.. aka 1 life

@@AndreiLucaa yes but the milsim player in me would want some shots to be perma headshots/heart/lungs, and those that aren't either severely cripple or cause a bleedout timer to start. And you could bandage yourself but getting "revived" doesn't restore health just allows you to stay alive longer. Other wise it gets ridiculous with the revives.

Yea hard to get sessions for new modes in Oz. But on portal browser there are a few standard conquest servers and Id say there's a decent community there

I didn‘t plan to watch the full video till the end, but it was so entertaining, I could not stop… I prefer to play the regular modes, but from a viewers perspective this is much more fun to watch than the base game. Great team chemistry with Tomo and Will!

This looks like the competitive mode they tried in BF1
Similar gamemode was in Battlefield Hardline, cool to see them incorporating that into 2042.

It was silly, but I did like a CTF mode here and there, but I haven't seen one in BF since the Desert Combat mod for BF1942.

I really think that EA needs to rethink the movement for the next battlefield. This games movement is just insanely fast, which aids the time to kill. I pray they go with a more Battlefield Bad Company movement approach.

Isn't that the problem with Battlefield though?. Trying something "New" when the formula was already fucking money is just asinine. EA/DICE have lost their way after BF4. I don't care how hype they make the next game. I am waiting like 3 months minimum after their broken launch to even CONSIDER, giving them a dime.

It makes sense, this is what BF2042 was built for.
WTF Dice smoked when they made the Firestrike mod? Most time waiting in this mode to jump in and to die in about 10 sec and then wait again. But the worst is that you get the ribbons for the skins, only in firestrike mode. Where you get max 5 ribbons per game like Jack and the others, and you need 120 to get all rewards. And the funny undermap glitch before you can use the drone after u die. And when you wait the 5 sec to use it the most of your team are dead or the enemy team. Please Dice

BF was my favorite series for the longest time but they really missed the mark with 2042 for me. Unless they go back to their roots, I don't know if I'll play the next game. So many games these days have been disappointing and I hope we get something special soon. I'm really not into any competitive FPS games right now. They all feel so stale.
As someone who has never touched the battlefield franchise before but picked up 2042 on PlayStation plus a few months back. I thought this game was pretty fun but after hearing what everyone else thinks about the game, I may be insanely wrong and now I’m wondering if I should check out the rest of the franchise and which game should I play?
