@@primrosecullen8488I meant no offence. In our days Asana was pre requisite to pranayama (especially kumbhaka) which was pre requisite to thousands of hours of dhyana and devotion leading to salvation over multiple life times. It is to be done under supervision of liberated Guru who would eventually initiate you in right mantra. It was real hardship and guru used to ensure strict discipline. These activities of pleasure didnt stand a chance. Kids these days are finding interesting applications of asanas. Nice.
@@VivekVerma-zh2wk Yes, we have changed it to fit better to our lifestyle and absolutely "lost" the deeper foundation/meaning. Sadly this is the way of the world today. Just listening to music today it totally different to music back in the day. We have lost the true purpose...maybe one day..it will revolve back to the pure source.
@@primrosecullen8488 It's fine as long as the real yogic science is kept intact for spiritual seekers. There will be periphery where people will find new applications. My only concern is that hath yoga effects energy flow in body and we have no clue of what may be outcome of wrong use of hath yoga. Pranayama is even more risky, fortunately people dont mess around with it.
