You are one of the most productive crafters I have ever seen! These flowers are so pretty. It's because I took a close look at the detail tip on your glue gun that I went shopping. What a fantastic difference this detail tip makes! I have so much more control of where the glue goes. Thank you ever so much! Every time I cut apart a doily, I can just imagine the frowns coming from the person that created it so many years ago...probably rolling over in their graves! You're right...the end result is so beautiful! I look upon this as recycling or cycling up. Love it!
I love the boot... as crafty as you are did you make the boot also? now that you showed how to cut and glue the doilies I can make my flowers... thank you for the time you've spent on your videos and for sharing them...
Just wanted to let you know I am lovin' your channel. I have been making cards for people for about 4 years, but now i think I will branch out and try something new. Trouble is not sure what yet. Every time I tune in I see you doing something I want to try. With you as my inspiration I have now made stick pins, flowers, dismantled jewellery clusters and a shabby chic gift box. I would love it if you did a video on making smaller lacey flowers that I could use on a 5.5" x 7.5" card. I love your spirit and thoroughly enjoy your videos.
Gorgeous!!! I always am cutting up doily's too, at first it bothered me, but not anymore!!!! I had to laugh when you were figuring out to use the lace bit or not, I'm talking to my screen saying,no,no, too big!!! And then you said it!!! LOL!!! Love watching your process!!!
I guess I need to make a video showing you the tablecloths I bought along with that hideous dress I bought for the lace and fabric. Oh and a pretty set of lace curtains. I can't wait to wash them all and start cutting! LOL
TY for the Tutorial Gorgeous!! Yes Glue Guns Hurt!! Do you have aloe gel in the UK? I filled a small bottle and put it on my desk and you can rub it on soon after the burn and it helps. I hope to find a nice old afghan someone crocheted and is selling a yard sale in the summer so I can begin to make your inspiring flowers !!
haha you make so much you can't remember if you have uploaded ......love it all .. re the doilies I find them really hard to find here in Turkey or they are so expensive and then when I get them I cant bear to cut them coz of the work that's gone into them .but please carry on making the vids I love them all and your Yorkshire accent reminds me so much of home xx
The shoe and the bag are both looking so beautiful. Do I have to leave a message on the other video if I wish a kit, because I would love to have another one of your kits (and I'm pationt, I can wait)? Your flowers are Always gorgeous. Love these doily flowers. TFS Patrizia
Mrs. Jennings, boo hoo honey I feel sorry I know how it burn I don't have asbestos fingers, especially the left hand. Now you know we all love you. I just love your flowers, It is amazing as many as you do they never look alike. Hugs xx Christine
Jennings644 Fiona, I wanted to tell you that I love your channel and you have inspired me so much on my crafting projects. I have a couple questions for you. What type of hot glue gun do you have and where did you get it? I am having a hard time finding one with a fine tip like the one you have. Also, do you have an etsy store currently up and running? I have tried to find and come up with no results. I would love to purchase some of your beautiful altered art / mixed media creations. Please let me know, thank you so very much!
My store will be open soon :) Right now its closed for a refit lol. If you want a fine tip glue gun, these are the ones to buy :) 1) The SURBONDER from the states at Joannes or Micheals but if your in the uk then you can get one called RAPID POINT from ebay for about £12 :) Hope this helps! Regarding buying my work, if you want me to create something just for you say like a canvas, then I can do that :) Hugs Fi xx
Jennings644 I look forward to your etsy store opening back up! I do live in the states, so I found the Surebonder Detail mini glue gun online and ordered it today, thank you so much for the suggestion! I absolutely adore all your shabby chic work! I was watching some of your past videos and I really loved you Halloween Canvas with the exploding heart. I would love for you to create something similar for me since I am sure someone bought that from you already. My favorite part about it was the exploding anatomical heart! Even if you could post a video of how you did that I would appreciate it!
