Tánaiste Dick Spring announces that the Labour party will be withdrawing from Government. Albert Reynolds resigned as leader a day later.

    Albert Reynolds achieved a great deal in such a short time. Dick Spring only serving his ego in spite of having acknowledged the achievements of the FF-Labour coalition.

    This taoiseach turned out to be the worst of them all ..and I can't understand why his nemis bertie aherne sitting beside him smirking away .or was it a case of "we got the b****rd. I'll be the next leader of ff and taoiseach..mind boggles 🤣
