I think Koreans should forgive him , everyone deserves a chance he didn't even hurted anyone he just tried something bad on himself and the biggest fact is that he is guilty for that since that day.

Back in 2010s some of my classmates used to love BIGBANG and since K-pop wasn't very popular then I was just making fun of them. But TOP's character in Squid Game made me look back into the history of BIGBANG, in a couple weeks I got to know their hardwork to overcome their hardships, their immense talent and pioneering the K-pop industry we know today. I have huge respect to GD, Daesung, Taeyang and TOP now. Hope TOP can find peace forever and in future BIGBANG can reunite with TOP.
He made a mistake and proved that he realized it wasn't right. At some point you should just let bygones be bygones. He is no longer the person he was 10 years ago. He should be given a second chance, especially in his own country, in which he can show that he has learned from his mistakes. He will be condemned more severely than someone who killed another. Through his mistake he only harmed himself and his body, he didn't physically harm anyone else. I find it sad and frightening at the same time what he had to go through. It could have ended differently back then and he would no longer be on earth. That's why everyone who condemned him and always condemns him should ask themselves whether they have to let it get to this point, so that others see no other way out than to die. There are enough problems on earth, we should learn to forgive each other and deal with each other peacefully
Imo. The way the Korean gov, the fan base, and his label acted was WAAAAY overkill for smoking a freaking joint in his own home. I know the Korean law hates ALL drugs but I still hold this opinion. The man smoked some weed in his home. These people acted like he murdered someone.
@dorkiedoodles2297 Korea has a different attitude towards drug use. The only thing his fans, if you can call such people a fan, forget is that he is a person who is not perfect. He makes just as many as everyone else. We are humans, not machines. But unfortunately, Korean fans think their idols are perfect and that's what idols have to represent to the outside world. I don't think he deserves all the hate. He has suffered enough

He shouldn't had face any public backlash to begin with, now he has paid any unreasonable demand for what he did. His real problem is the media in Korea as they are easy trigger against however looks convenient. Although with the internet been deplatform it's way harder than before, mainstream media still play a huge roll in every aspect of the entertainer industry, I hope he can overcome that.
Yh. Whenever I go to Korean websites it’s so negative, and if people get their information only from there no wonder why they would feel negative feelings about someone they read about from there.

From my observations some international fans of him believes that he is innocent, under my videos that I made about him, they keep thinking he was not that involved, which I don’t understand when there are evidences. But you can’t change their minds, I don’t know where they get their information from so
The problem with this was simply that he didn’t explain why tf he left. If he had, it would’ve been different. He acted like the remaining members fxcked him over or something and never explained him blocking them like they hadn’t known each other for most of their lives. It was sad af.
