I went to smite because my favorite moba paragon got shutdown, you were my favorite to watch religiously for smite content. Funny how it's full circle for my favorite smite player is now playing the game that's always had my heart, it really is a joy to watch. Hopefully they add competitive this time around and unlike smite make it a full team stack instead of just a 2 man

Cool tip Mast ! If you use AOE abilities on minion waves and if you hit an enemy, the minions don't target you.

Each item is categorized by Role but any character can build any item, although you should mostly stick to the items that have beneficial stats for your hero. I.E. Physical power items on Grux
Creatures
Fangtooth gives a different buff every time your team (or the enemy) kill it, stuff like Movement Speed.
Mini Orb/Orb Prime gives a buff to your damage dealt and increases both HP and Mana Regen.

btw, sevarog isn't bad, just rough to use for inexperienced players cause he has to stack last hits with his abilities with a meh early game. if you see a sevarog without big pauldrons by minute 10/15, you can assume they don't really know what they're doing

As a grux main You broke my heart when you chose the axe over ice claws the claws active gives you dmg, rundown potential and a free escape on a shorter cd
Glad you enjoying the game just a quick gameplay tip if you want to continue playing Grux he is extremely strong early game so most players who understand that kind of play how the Kallari played and wait for ganks since he doesn’t have a lot mobility. Would like to see you play Kwang he has a very interesting kit

We need a "Do not surrender. Do not give up." meta in all MOBAs it seems. To many people with a quit and go next mentality that ruins playing these games. It's never over till it's over and a comeback is always possible
I just started playing this game the other day and i like grux alot. i have a build id like you to try out on him. i just played it and went 17/5/4. start with marksman (build into passifier for the dash). the build : kingsbane > breach > lightning hawk > mutilator > nightfall. you can replace the nightfall with a different item depending on the state of the game. max right click 1st, E 2nd, and Q last. the build revolves around the grux autos and quick waveclear. use the E, 4, and passifier to dash onto the enemys and Q and R to stun them. I hope you try it out! good luck.

something to note mast, while killari jump is aids its does 1 have a small cooldown and 2 gives basically 0 mobility outside of up so as long as you follow her she'll usually land next to you
Not sure if you know but if you go to the vision tab at the top of the shop you can choose between a ward and a sentry ward. When you activate the sentry it creates a zone around you where if you walk over a ward you can see it and kill it for gold. That’s what you saw on the serath later in the game. Not her ability
Ganking Duo/Playing Jungle is too much fun. ESPECIALLY SUPPORT. Who ever throws the bouncing stun is INSANELY FUN

Played Gurx offlane sometime ago and I gotta say it's so catharthic to get ganked by the entire enemy team and dying taking at least 2 with me and leaving 3 of them half dead for my team to finish off lmao

I was a day one Paragon Player. I feel like I've been waiting ages for Mast to give one of the remakes a chance. Pred is probably the best iteration we've recieved so far. Fault was ok, but it played really slow to. Overprime felt too much like a hero brawler, but i did have a ton of fun with it. And OG Paragon had too many issues to count, but damn did i love it.

I had a 4v5 Crux game and I killed it in that. Considering I probably built like trash, but the Axe of Animosity (not sure what the Pred equivalent is, the item where you basic attack with your health stat) seemed really good on him. It was basically a 2v1 game but it was 2 tanks (Me and the drummer guy) vs 1 assassin (Serath) and it went pretty well even though we lost in the end.

You mentioned soulreaper got you into pred in another vid. I recommend watching his role item vids that he put out a couple weeks ago. He goes in depth on what items to pick in certain situations. Will help you out a lot once you start building some solid items.

If you like grux you will love Khaimera, its like if bakasura was actually good. But seeing you play this game brings the biggest smile to my face, i loved paragon so much. Keep up the great vids

Mini-prime is great if you can squeeze it in. It gives you super minions when near them and I think other enhancements for the team plus 200 gold. The problem as you see is everyone ignores it lol.
A shame really since at most you only need 2 people to clear it reasonably fast.

As a Sevarog enjoyer, hitting the dash, hammer, root into your tower is just 😩😩😩
quick tip, you don't get your ultimate until you reach lvl 6, so that sevarog couldn't throw him under tower with the ult no matter what
Pred just has the coolest characters. Smite gods are cool but Pred is unique with its style

I was thinking you should have saved your q there kuz the Kallari was dead unless he ran and got away. Also for Grux if you need to engage on someone at a distance, it almost seems obvious, idk, but I like to dash into q, r, auto, Ult, auto. I know you kind of like to save your dash but it's good poke if you can't engage otherwise in kuz they're playing passive. I think the r slows in the Overprime version I played, but I may be wrong, it has been over a year lol
Good shit @ 37:20-ish!! Was nostalgic of my 20/5/10 Grux Jg play style 😎. That's pretty much exactly how I would have played it, and what I was saying in the last comment about holding your q a bit sometimes. Sometimes I use it immediately so it's up sooner, but other times, especially if they have escapes it's smart to hold. You'll learn who to hold it for as you learn the other champs/gods(btw sorry for commenting so much if it bothers you, but I figure it'll help with the algorithm at the very least, and since you asked for some advice here and there I was actually really good when I played and I'm excited you're playing my fav "gods" so I like to help when I can xD)

You joke about jumping ymir freeze, but for awhile you could jump things like janus 1 and 3 and art traps with enough move speed.

I've been enjoying predecessor quite a bit lately. Was wondering/suggesting if you would think about making a new intro so you can have the classic intro for smite and maybe another for this game?
The problem with mini prime is that it only gives it to 1 person but it also can almost be done solo

I’ve been playing Predecessor since Dec 2022. I enjoy the gameplay but took a long break because it got repetitive for me. Lately I’ve been playing nonstop playing the various new heroes they added since I left. The new game mode and ranked mode coming soon will give the game a breath of fresh air.

Mini Prime = Big Prime except the effect only goes on the character to last hit mini, not the whole team of the character that last hits

lvl one take your pull, then after that go ult, double cleave, dash, then pull. then the rotation is dash, auto, cleave, auto, pull auto, ult and run them down.
name of the game is gank offlane early so you can forget about that lane since hes going to snowball out of control :)
so with grux without ward or ult play it safe :) else you get WAR CRIMED and ganked on cooldown hehe
