Google literally spends millions, if not billions, of dollars to keep youtube running every year. Which is exactly why they made all these changes to ads. If they didn't do whatever advertisers wanted they would lose billions of dollars in revenue and that would come straight out of google's pocket just adding onto how much this website costs to run. So unless some *massive* company has balls of steel and tries to fight Google's monopoly by being willing to lose billions of dollars to do so, RUclips is all you'll get.
I would honestly be so cool with you guys selling out to replace ads. Getting your own product placements and creating paid product reviews and what not. As long as it doesn't replace all your content.
