lol Tony been guarding criminals for years. He learned their tricks, and how dumbed down the social game is. Tony is lucky nobody called him on his bluff, its not like Tony would ACTUALLY stab somebody, or even hit that young white kid for correctly calling him out. The first person who challenged him probably would of seriously hurt him. Now send him to a prison with real dangerous criminals and see how fast he becomes pod boss. He made for good T.V, but hes lucky af and could of been the guy who had this show shut down. Ive said for a long time its only a matter of time before one of these contestants gets really hurt and this show will end. People like Tony are hurrying up that process.
This show is meant to help make the jail improve at reform. When really, its just about seeing how regular people handle jail. There is NOTHING new you will tell a warden who has been at that prison for like 10-15-20 whatever years after your 60 day stay. Really the only improvement is there is more cameras in the pods, so its safer in that sense. When A&E isnt there, there is like a old Nokia cellphone recording only 60% of the pod. Or the cameras dont matter if the guards dont want to care about it and no TV show is there to make them look bad. The only thing this show has done is expose how horribly run the prisons are, and how easy the criminals would be to keep calm with proper control.
I have not seen one prisoner on this show that has that look in their eyes, if you know what i mean. I watch a lot of jail stuff, there are levels to danger, and this is bottom tier. Thats why soccer moms and paul blart mall cops can work their way into the hierarchy. Reform and punish. The punish is being there, losing time and safety. With proper reform, people would come out better instead of bitter. The problem is, they got gun toting pig wranglers with a chip on their shoulder running things, and minimum wage bums from craigslist to be guards.

Man, I just mind my business and do my time. I dont even ask what people in for anymore. But of course, this situation is different. Your intent is to gather information. Could I do 60 in, sure. Would I? Nah. I'm not getting nobody anymore time than they have and I'm definitely not helping them tighten up a facility. Cooperating in an investigation is snitching, period.
