I so agree about the commercial side of Christmas. I'm not feeling it either. I think in part it's because older children really want to pick out their own stuff. We're so lucky that we have affordable items we shop year round. I think the needs have changed. What is remembered though are the times we spend with our children. Those memories are more important than presents. If you prepare a wonderful dinner, play cards, games or put a puzzle challenge together that is the memory. Holding good thoughts for you this holiday!
Your hair looks so pretty and fluffy!/I like the ink pens in all of the different colors. Merry Christmas 🎁 to you and your kids and animals-although I know you are feeling down. I get that way, too. I have very little family but God is with us all.

This time of year is the hardest time for people who have lost loved ones and I also don’t like how it gets so dark so early. I’m 65 years old and have never liked it and always look forward to summer. I find the older you get the worse it is. I hope you and your four children will have a good Christmas and God bless you ❤️🙏

I feel the heaviness and the sadness this year more than ever, too. Not an ounce of Christmas spirit in me. Hope feels so far distant I can’t even get close enough to grasp it. Frustrated with being expected to have faith and the having lifecstomp me down and hurt more, over and over again. So, I hear ya, girl. So sorry that your heart is hurting so bad. Just know you are definitely not alone!
Awe... I'm so sorry you are hurting. I do understand your pain, hun. For 4 years I had no family due to my drug addiction and those were some of the most gut wrenching pain and loneliness and really was hell. About a year ago however, God took me down a new path and showed me a different path. Today I am clean, I have my family back, I fell in love, I've moved, and I've gotten married. It's a lot. You have to continue to hang on and know you are doing everything right and you are okay. One day I believe God's plan for you will come to pass so continue to believe. Take care and God Bless.
