@@tysonclopton5483it wouldn't though, there's nothing new here, do X for reward, where the reward is skills/abilities. Nothing different from the fetch quest system, gonna have very similar complaints that people had with Elden Ring with its dungeons, having to do specific areas for specific gear and abilities.

Getting a reward for doing a quest like lets say a weapon of a armour piece isnt new at all thats very true but instead of a regular rewards you are unlocking skills. So thats new its actually very impressive since it literally makes it so you dont need to grind xp anymore.

Not really happy about the no exp, lvling or skill trees. You can't really make it your character in that aspect. When you say we are giving you a open world rpg don't take out some of the best rpg elements.
They never said it was an RPG. It’s a third person action/adventure game set in an open world with minimal rpg elements like character and ship customization. Think of GTA or RDR but in the world of Star Wars.
There is also no enemy AI or fan service models, what they do have is boring fetch, mob kill or racing missions. Also they have alot of uncanny valley facial animations.
Actually sounds cool that way you can explore instead of grinding for xp and you still get something out of it

This is exactly what I've been saying modern rpgs need to be doing - new abilities and gear NEED to be tied to quests, not skill points
