Yep look what happened with sam raimi spiderman 3, venom was shoved in for no reason because raimi didn't want venom in sm3. And with the amazing spider man films there was constant studio interference, in tasm 2 harry Osborne as goblin was shoe horned in for no reason and so was rhino, sony needs to them do their thing and NOT interfere with the people working on the film

I find it a shame that the film was released between the two Avengers films. I would have liked the film to be released in February 2026 and the plot to be very down to earth with Kinping and Daredevil. Doom could be introduced in a post credit scene. This would be his second appearance after Fantastic 4

One way they could fix this is split the movie into two halves and make it 3 hr - the first 1.5hr serving serving as a prologue to Dooms Day and the second half serving as an epilogue with the over arching story not told in chronological order i.e.have three parts with parts 1 and 3 in Spidey 4 and part 2 in Doomsday.

Venom wasn't terrible I guess but that's because he's actually an interesting character. Morbius was terrible. Also don't forget that stunt they pulled showing oscorp and a mural of Spiderman in the trailers but not in the movie. At the end of the day like what's the point in all of these "spinoffs" give it to marvel and let them make the spinoffs and decide whether or not Spiderman is going to be in it. Please let Spider-Man 4 be a Street Level, because we need to do it where the villains are, Mr. Negative, Scorpion, Kraven The Hunter, The Shocker, or Tombstone, then when we get a Post-Credits Scene it can lead into the events of Spider-Man 5, but more importantly it can lead us into Avengers 6: Secret Wars for the big finale of the Multiverse Saga.🙏🏼

Venom wasn't terrible I guess but that's because he's actually an interesting character. Morbius was terrible. Also don't forget that stunt they pulled showing oscorp and a mural of Spiderman in the trailers but not in the movie. At the end of the day like what's the point in all of these "spinoffs" give it to marvel and let them make the spinoffs and decide whether or not Spiderman is going to be in it. I feel like people only see these movies hoping that Andrew Garfield or Tobey Maguire's Spiderman will make an appearance
