I believe this can play on the campaign at any season but I always associated it with the winter. The sound just perfectly compliments a howling wind and snow covered map. Things slow down during the winter and it often leads to reflection while you’re waiting, and this is also complimented by this song. Because while sad, it has a perfect amount of calm and serenity to it that leaves room to just think.
