LECTURE SUMMARY AND NOTES Ali's Early Life and Conversion to Islam Ali was born in Makkah, approximately 30 years younger than Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), and was taken care of by him from a young age, around 5-6 years old 01:38. Ali was the first boy to accept Islam, and his acceptance of the faith occurred when he was around 10 years old 02:28. Ali made a great sacrifice during the Hijra of Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) by laying in his bedding, putting his life at risk, and he later migrated to Madinah three days later 05:00. Ali married Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), and despite not being a wealthy man, Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) gave his daughter to him due to his good character and upright nature 06:49. Ali's Marriage to Fatima The marriage ceremony was simple, with Ali selling his armor to provide the Mahr (gift) for Fatima, as instructed by Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) 10:25. Ali went to the market to sell his armor to fund his marriage to Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad, and was paid 400 Dirhams by his brother-in-law, but the payment was later considered a gift 11:18. Ali was one of the ten people told by Muhammad that they would go to Paradise, and he was also the cousin and son-in-law of Muhammad 13:35. Ali's Close Relationship with Muhammad and Role in Key Events Ali was known for his education and wisdom, and was often called upon by Muhammad to write down revelations, despite Muhammad being unlettered 17:11. Ali played a key role in the Treaty of Hudaybiyah, writing the treaty and serving as a witness 18:55. Muhammad praised Ali before the Battle of Khaybar, saying he would give the flag to someone whom Allah loves and who loves Allah, and Ali was given the leadership role 19:15. Muhammad advised Ali to guide people to the right path, rather than just fighting them, saying that guiding one person is better than having the most valuable material possessions 20:03. Ali's Relationship with Abu Bakr and Leadership Qualities Ali was one of the first to pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr as Khalifa, and he had a good relationship with him, often walking together and seeking each other's opinions 22:09. Ali looked after Abu Bakr's child, Muhammad Abu Bakr, as his own and even named some of his children after Abu Bakr and Omar, showing the strong bond between them 23:52. Ali was a just and fair leader, as seen in an incident where he lost his armor and a Jewish man was selling it; Ali went to the judge, who ruled in favor of the Jewish man due to lack of evidence, and the Jewish man was so impressed that he converted to Islam 28:22. Ali's Humility, Piety, and Martyrdom Ali's son asked him who the best of people was after Muhammad, and Ali humbly replied that he was just a man among Muslims, despite the Prophet having told him he was among those who already had Paradise 30:21. Ali was known for his piety, reading Salah at night and fasting frequently, and he encouraged others to do the same, saying that the journey to Paradise was a long one that required effort and dedication 31:10. Ali (RA) was approximately 63 years old when he was martyred in the 40th year of Hijra by Abdur Rahman ibn Muljam, a man who opposed him 32:36. The opposition was due to a difference in opinion on how to deal with the murderers of Uthman, with some wanting immediate penalization and others wanting a different approach 32:50. Abdur Rahman ibn Muljam bought a poisoned sword and pierced Ali's belly, leading to his death three days later 33:49.
@FrankeNamensKarim No, he didn't. It is just fabricated. And even if the best woman is fatima zahra, like the propeht said she is seyyda of all women. And just ali was good enough for her. Abu bakr and umar weren't good enough for fatima they asked the prophet, but they denied.
@zakidrees2607 There are hadtihs, my friend. First, abu bakr asked the prophet refused, and then umar asked if he refused too. And some other guys asked too, but always he refused. So they thought ali wouldn't get her too and wanted him to fail, but ali was humble because he knew the status of fatima. But after some time, he asked the prophet, and he is the only one where the prophet I ask fatima. Fatima, when she was asked, was quiet and smiled. This is the only exception till today that when a woman doesn't answer that it is a yes. I think you know that the father always has to ask the daughter when the father doesn't have a valid point that the man who asked isn't a good match for the daughter. The prophet said in another hadith that when there is no ali, there would be no man good enough for fatima. And your caliphs attacked the house of this holy woman. Like the prophet said, one of the 4 ladies of heaven and she is the best one of these 4.

@FrankeNamensKarim Not every sahaba was good. There were hypocrites (9:101) Then there are plenty of hadiths in sunni books which talk about how umar ran away from battles. There are even quran verses that talk about how muslims ran away And sure, they had time For respect to the prophet, they could wait until the prophet was buried. And why did umar not give the prophet pen and paper and said that the old man didn't know what he was talking about when the prophet said that he would write so nobody would go astray Don't be a hypocrite like your Jewish caliphs
@@amo313_ I know there were hypocrites, I mean 2 special group of the sahaba but I forgot the names of the groups. I think it was the group that went to exile with our prophet saw, and the group after that. Maybe you know what groups I mean. Abu Bakr was one of the first Muslims, Umar also became muslim before many others, though Idk rn what group he belongs to. Muawiyya for example isn't part of those groups when I remember correctly. And I am not a hypocrite, it's just that I never read anything like that about Umar, he was an honorable man and a good leader. I also think Ali was a great man, honorable and a good leader. I think Uthman was a good muslim, but probably a bad leader and Muawiyya was a good leader, but probably a bad Muslim. BUT I don't know everything that happened, so I shouldn't judge. There are many different sources and reports about what happened, I once heard for example that the group behind Uthmans assassination were responsible for the battle between aisha and Ali
@FrankeNamensKarim an another question: Does it make sense that everyone was good. There were more than 120000 sahaba, and you say there were all good and everyone was befriended. When the prophet lived, there was sahaba who didn't like the other one, and this was during the time of the prophet what happened after the death. Best example, the battle of jamal were many many muslim died, so who was right and who was wrong. The caliph or the wife of the prophet. Both can't be right, so somebody is with haq. And like the prophet said, ali is with the haq and haq is with ali. So, aisha was wrong, or do you want to talk against the word of the prophet who never talked without Allah told him so (53:3-4)
@FrankeNamensKarim so first of all, I'm sorry that I insulted you. There are plenty of hadtihs which states that abu bakr and umar didn't obey the command of the prophet in his lifetime. There his nothing which would make them higher than ali. Abu bakr wasn't the first there are hadtihs which states that he was the 50 one in sunni books. Another example is after the death of the prophet, where they said that they would burn the house of fatima zahra if ali didn't give his alliance to Abu bakr. Is in sunni books, too. Why did fatima die with anger to abu bakr when there is a hadtih that states whoever makes fatima angry makes me (the prophet) angry, and whoever makes me angry makes Allah angry. And aisha wasn't even allowed to leave the house, so why did she fight against ali. The command that she didn't allow to do that was from the prophet.
@FrankeNamensKarim family, being and seeing are different. No disagreement on if seen or not but on if is or not. The difference is huge family. Being Holy and seeing one who is/was Holy ... It's different.. yet such is the way of questions with possible mistakes in translation of ideas through translation and autocorrect misbehavior.
@FrankeNamensKarim perhaps what is seen as RA within them is also what's called hosting a great spirit. I Wonder if they mean RA as purely RANK. As in the Pharaoh is always Ra because of the rank of Pharaoh? Perhaps so. Names and titles and ranks ACROSS the board of multi Heraldry can overlap and does often. If by Ra it means the LEGAL HEIR RULER of ALL Things on behalf of the invisible as the highest ranking of all peoples second only to the Maker and Demaker of Creation being the same one but the invisible rank but with a visible meat. Welp is all that is logical then seems Ra is one of my Titles lmao welp another to pass to my HEIR Emmanuel Maccabees of the HOUSE of DAVID crowned Eternal King of Jerusalem High King of Palestine by default of being Eternal King of Jerusalem. Lmao always many ranks yet when the all turn all into one that's when the only one is flesh. The combination of Titles is more than any single title... Neat how Jesus gets better and better and why Ra was so quick to help Moses' mission to punish Egypt for lollygagging dragging their feet against defending Palestines children from the greatest evil out the North

@Sidi-sz4ph please be more clear. I don't understand what you have written. If by this comment you are saying is the video on Ali a.s or r.a. enough? Then no it is not enough. Ali did not take money of any of the Khalifas for wedding. Also the more important issue when researching a dominant figure of Islam should include his date of birth and the place of where he was born. Ali's personality is much more than mentioned in this video. Much much more and instead you have given a watered down version and mixed it with other personalities.
In Christianity, dominion in both heaven and the earth will be established through sonship. God is ONE BEING that is a Father to a Son, a Son to a Father, all sustained by the eternal life of the Spirit. Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 says "let US make man in OUR image" A man that believes in the Word of God can be ONE BEING that is a father to a son, a son to a father, all sustained by the eternal life of the Holy Spirit. The message of the Trinity in the Bible is foundational because salvation and sonship are inseparable concepts according to the Bible. Those who believe in the living Word of God, Jesus Christ, become sons and daughters of God. If there was no mention of a pre-existing eternal sonship in the Bible, there would be no logical notion of salvation and eternal unity with God being available through sonship. The divine Sonship of Christ is not metaphorical, and neither is the salvation and sonship offered to the sons and daughters of Adam through Christ. Read Proverbs chapter 30 verse 4 to see the divine Son mentioned in one of many places in the old testament. Feel free to ask any questions...
The Trinity is the message of THREE Persons and ONE Being, so how is that possible? Through sonship, and no other way. God is ONE BEING that is an eternal Father to an eternal Son, an eternal Son to an eternal Father, all sustained through UNCREATED eternal life that is Spirit. Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 says "let US make man in OUR image" One man can be ONE BEING that is a created father to a created son, a created son to a created father, all sustained through CREATED life designed by the Godhead to operate in a sonship patterned after the uncreated Sonship of God. Is a father a person? Yes. Is a son a person? Yes. Is a spirit a person? Yes. The tri-unity of God is literally the easiest part of Christianity to understand.
@@FrankeNamensKarim Read John chapter 1 for the official Christian doctrine on the Word of God becoming flesh. Jesus is the living and eternal Word of God, and God and His Word are eternally "one." In John chapter 17 verse 3 Jesus was claiming to be YAHWEH that was sent to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the book of Genesis. The messenger of the covenant in the old testament that was SENT was Yahweh who appeared in the flesh, and the messenger of the covenant in the NEW testament that was SENT was Yahweh who appeared in the flesh, again, so both the old and new testaments are consistent on this issue.
Exodus 15:3: "Yahweh is a man of war; Yahweh is his name" Psalm 24:8: "YHWH, mighty and valiant, YHWH, valiant in battle" Isaiah 42:13: "Yahweh goes forth like a mighty man, like a man of war he stirs up his fury" Zephaniah 3: 17: "Yahweh, your God, is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory"

Then there are plenty of hadiths in sunni books which talk about how umar ran away from battles. There are even quran verses that talk about how muslims ran away
And sure, they had time
For respect to the prophet, they could wait until the prophet was buried.
And why did umar not give the prophet pen and paper and said that the old man didn't know what he was talking about when the prophet said that he would write so nobody would go astray
Don't be a hypocrite like your Jewish caliphs
@@amo313_
I know there were hypocrites, I mean 2 special group of the sahaba but I forgot the names of the groups.
You say Mohammed is RA?
Muhammad saw, Abu Bakr ra, Umar ra, Uthman ra, Ali ra

Ok, and the context of all that?
I just wanted to make clear he is saw, and all the sahaba are ra
He’s a human brother! Can you tell me how many salawat did he send in the entire video? How many duas?just thank him he’s among us doing all he can for the sake of ALLAH swt.
The rest of the information is false other than Ali laid in the bed.
Please research Ali independently and not listen to shallow lecturers who don't look to tell the authentic truth. I just lost respect for Mufti Menk. I thought he was a thinker and researcher but sadly he has failed to deliver very the truth. I will research all other videos and question the information before accepting the information that comes from here. Falsehood is all I have found on here, sadly by Mufti Menk.
@@sheesh7047 what exactly is not true and where is the truth found?
@FrankeNamensKarim Ali a.s. did not get any money from the Khalifa respectively. Why would you not mention that Ali a.s was born in Mecca?
May Allah bless us Muslims and unite us under His guidance. This talk is meant for us to know and love Ali (R.A.) and all the other companions. Yet here you are, focusing only on disputes and uncertainties, mocking others, and feeling superior with knowledge that might not even be true.
Not the real fact enough
@Sidi-sz4ph please be more clear. I don't understand what you have written. If by this comment you are saying is the video on Ali a.s or r.a. enough? Then no it is not enough. Ali did not take money of any of the Khalifas for wedding. Also the more important issue when researching a dominant figure of Islam should include his date of birth and the place of where he was born. Ali's personality is much more than mentioned in this video. Much much more and instead you have given a watered down version and mixed it with other personalities.
Aleyhi Salem, 1st Calipha
'Ali burned those who said he was better than Abu Bakr and 'Umar for blasphemy. Doesnt need to go any further than that
In Christianity, dominion in both heaven and the earth will be established through sonship. God is ONE BEING that is a Father to a Son, a Son to a Father, all sustained by the eternal life of the Spirit.
Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 says "let US make man in OUR image"
A man that believes in the Word of God can be ONE BEING that is a father to a son, a son to a father, all sustained by the eternal life of the Holy Spirit.
Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 says "let US make man in OUR image"
One man can be ONE BEING that is a created father to a created son, a created son to a created father, all sustained through CREATED life designed by the Godhead to operate in a sonship patterned after the uncreated Sonship of God.
Is a father a person? Yes.
Is a son a person? Yes.
Is a spirit a person? Yes.
The tri-unity of God is literally the easiest part of Christianity to understand.
Trinity doesn't exist in the bible.
If Jesus is god, was he the creator of adam? And did abraham pray to jesus?
@@FrankeNamensKarim Read John chapter 1 for the official Christian doctrine on the Word of God becoming flesh. Jesus is the living and eternal Word of God, and God and His Word are eternally "one."
In John chapter 17 verse 3 Jesus was claiming to be YAHWEH that was sent to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the book of Genesis. The messenger of the covenant in the old testament that was SENT was Yahweh who appeared in the flesh, and the messenger of the covenant in the NEW testament that was SENT was Yahweh who appeared in the flesh, again, so both the old and new testaments are consistent on this issue.
Exodus 15:3: "Yahweh is a man of war; Yahweh is his name"
Psalm 24:8: "YHWH, mighty and valiant, YHWH, valiant in battle"
Isaiah 42:13: "Yahweh goes forth like a mighty man, like a man of war he stirs up his fury"
Zephaniah 3: 17: "Yahweh, your God, is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory"

There are also multiple verses saying jesus prayed to god -> did god pray to himself?
Or what's with the verse saying Jesus slept, while another one said god doesn't sleep?
How didn't jesus know when's the day of judgement?
