As Zerg i m switching composition, defend my ovis spread everywhere, while this terran at diamond stay in liberation zones on diamond! :D But i am plat :(

This must have been the biggest difference between two players in skill we had in IODIS. The protoss actually looks like a diamond, his execution isn't great but the ideas are there. The terran on the other hand... If this was rank roullette I would have guessed high silver
The best part is the editor gets the final say in these back-and-forths. Harstem can make any jokes he wants, but the editor's response is the end of it.
Usually when a person files a Imba report, the part where they talk about themselves failing to meet a certain criteria of being good at the game is the reason why they suck
The CC was late because of the gas first. When playing gas first you typically open marine and get factory before CC, I think, so that your early pressure units come out faster with the trade off that your eco is slightly worse. At the very least you would get factory before CC even when getting a reaper.
Yeah he messed up the build. Off of gas first your CC will be delayed no matter what which is why you go factory first and marine (that takes no gas) so that you can get the fastest factory possible. That is why he is floating so much gas while building it. He essentially played a barracks first build from a gas first which is really quite painful.
@@karstanb3157 It's definetely possible to play CC before factory, if you opened with reaper, that's a standard build order, but you usually don't scout with that
Toss is easier to play, micro and have better quality of unit early and end game. so yeah outside pro league me and my terran friend think they are imba (not OP).
@@krisnhamurti7441 respectfully disagree. Micro maybe, although you always watch your Colossus attacking wrong targets and disruptors missing without proper micro. P need to target ghosts to feedback, ghosts can just through emp without targeting. You have plenty of ultimate units like tanks, tors, bcs, libs. Single Marine is best unit in the game. You have free detection, mules, best harrasments which is painful to counter. Races are +- balanced and if not, i would say terrans are a bit more op.

Love this series! I have asked a few SC channels about casting 2v2 games, and the response I often get is that 2v2 is really imba. People say it's because of dual cannon rushes, dual 12 pools and such. If I could get your opinion on the imba of 2v2, it would be greatly appreciated. Personally I think it's not that imba, it's just that people tend to suck.

Not sure what it is with terrans and not using ghosts/complaining they're hard to control. High templar are slower, much squishier, shorter range, can do friendly fire damage with storm and don't have stealth, but you don't see many protoss going "oh it's too hard, I guess I just won't build high templar". I'm sure someone is going to come in here and say that it's cause they are microing so much else - let's be real, adding a few EMPs to a fight would do way more to help than any "micro" 90% of terrans do beyond stim + a-move. Lots of terrans actually make their fights worse with their attempts at micro.

thats funny. i think terran is the imba race. most tactics, and you only need a handfull of marines to crush entire armys. and in later game, you dont need to switch to highter techtree , you only need marines, mauraders and maybe medivecs and its over. not on grandmaster niveau, but in platin definetly. i lost so many games because terran crushed me with level 1 techtree. protoss is forced to go to techtree 2 or 3 to stand a chance aginst marines/ marauders. Its really imba.
Wow, different races are different. Some races can instantly warp units across the map, some can make 50 of theirs at once and some have to produce constantly in cycles and keep an eye on it. Did they have medivacs with them or did you lose to bare marines? You would be surprised, but technically medivacs are T3 units, ghosts are T3, libs are T3.
i play 2 games last hour. one with protoss. losing vs terran because he crushed my entire army with marines marauders + one tank. second game: play with terran vs protoss, building mass marines mass marauders. i forced him to build kolossus and dark templar, so he get a chance. if you think about this, its a really imba game. you see it by practice...

You forgot to notice he missed his second depot and supply blocked himself for about 10-15 seconds.
Marauders don't need a home or food because they're gonna be stormed anyway :p
