@@CrabTastingMan this guy built a *moving* horse out of lego. Functional, and pleasing to look at. The majority of the audience does not really care if the movement isn't 100% accurate.

Jack Plays myself works in that context. Yourself and myself mean the same, if MaraMash had used yourself it wouldn’t of made sense, if that’s what you meant.

Everyone's design process is going to be a bit different. I have watched some that just start putting pieces together. They build, dismantle, and rebuild until they are happy with what they have. Some draw a concept picture and then start building. Some render it digitally first. Some plan out everything in excruciating detail. It is going to be different for every builder.
I love these build-up type videos. Many people have mentioned they come across almost like ASMR, so if that's what you're going for, ignore my suggestion. But I think it would be cool to have a voiceover on videos like this, even just unscripted, kinda like movie commentary. In the other videos you've done on this horse model, the focus is on the mechanics (how the head, body, and tail move, how the legs are synchronized, the lever systems that make the motion so recognizable) but I would love to hear your thoughts on other aspects of the design, like appearance and part usage (why make it all white? How did you make the horse's dimensions match a real horse so closely? How did you think of using various feather pieces for the mane and tail?) PS. Are you watching LEGO Masters? If so, thoughts?
jackofallspades98 LEGO masters makes me mad, the way the exaggerate certain things and the way they talk and act they make themselves sound like LEGO masters. But watching them and seeing what they do, and how some of them don’t have a huge history with LEGO it just makes them look stupid. I could do way better on the show and I’m sure any true LEGO builder such as MOC builders could do way better.
These are intentionally done in 'ASMR style', but thanks for the feedback. I'm not really a chatty person, so doing unscripted voice overs would probably be a terrible idea. Point noted about the other design aspects. Those are things I never really talk about. Regarding LEGO Masters, I have not watched any of it yet, though I have been keeping tabs a little on what is happening. I may watch it at some point, but to be honest it's not that high on my watch list. I find the typical reality show format to be a bit painful to watch, and it doesn't sound this this one is much different in that regard.
Gervais Builds the fact that they move so slow is also quite aggravating. One team barely did anything for 5 hours and somehow the host thinks one team member’s anger was unjustified.
Sorry everyone is not an expert on the different kinds of walk/run horses do. We all just think it’s cool. If you want to try to do what this person did and create it galloping this time, then go for it and tell me how it turns out. I’d love to see you try.

This is really nice though, I love how you spent time on making captions to explain what you are building at the time, like the stand or support collum.
