Guten Morgen! They really are very special and uniquely German/European and you should feel very proud. 🤩 The only comparable thing we have is the New Orleans Jazz Festival that happens every year and even that does not compare.
In my time living in Germany, we would go to at least, one big one and several smaller ones every year. Where I lived in Bavaria (Ansbach, Wurzburg), Rock im Park was the one we looked most forward to. If I remember correctly it took place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nürnberg. (Although I must admit as the weekend continued so did my Vodka/Red Bull mixture in my Camelback, so some memories are a bit fuzzy lol) I wish you all the best in the new year, have a spectacular day, Mel. ☮️
The lead singer, and main songwriter, is a big fan of Johnny Cash. And Elvis. Musically, this song is basically the same structure as Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues.” For an Elvis-style song react to “Pelvis on Fire.”
