cracked mine open 1 minute into your video so we could drink em together lol that actually sounded really sad as I was saying it in my head.....lol Cheers
I drink beer along with reviews on youtube all the time! It's actually fun and is a good way to develop your pallet. You can compare flavors and aromas, and if you're going to have a beer by yourself anyway, why not do it with someone! lol
i tried this today......regular......not oak aged....7.2 abv........very good.......I would like to do a taste test with the stone ruination...........cheers!
Just had this beer with a hearty steak. The oaky finish helps balance the bitterness of the beer and is a good step up from the regular Arrogant Bastard, thus well-worth the extra dollars.
Solid review. I actually prefer the OAKED AB over the original. But, its hard to go wrong with anything from Stone Brewing. Are you from the Carolina's by any chance??
Great review! I love this beer so much. This year's Double Bastard recently came out, which is also great, but also totally different (ages well). It's like a barley wine. If you see Lucky Bastard, that one may be the best version of this classic American ale.
A friend wanted to give me some expensive beer he bought that he hated and couldn't drink. He had paid $20 for a sixer. I showed up this week and this is what he had bought ! Well I must say it was a bit bold for my taste but I also had recently warmed up to the occasional IPA having tried a Stone IPA and the Shiner Wild Hare and found myself kinda liking it as a once in a while beer. This ale has grown on me as I finished the last one today, its not too bad. Not gonna pay $20 for a sixer though
So delicious, I haven't had the oaked in a while; however, but I did have the original Arrogant Bastard Ale today. The bitter notes were long lasting and very pleasant :).
Thanks for the reviews ! I love dark beers.I just subscribed I am from Greece though and i am not able to get all the brands you show but i ll try to find some :)
Weird, this is the second Arrogant Bastard review I have seen and neither had as much of a head as mine did, mine was one of the coolest heads I have ever seen, it iceberged like hell and made like a spiral design in the middle of the head.
nice vid Greg. personally, i prefer the original to this. i like bourbon and whisky, but didn't like the softer notes created by the oak aging process in this one. cheers!
Yeah it's good but nothing special like from a local brewery or anything like that. I had gotten myself 20 bottles of local-brew from a town in Poland some time ago, that was tasty.
I didn't catch that, but if he said it's sessionable... i think he meant... it's a good beer to drink slowly and sip on over an extended period. Sort of a rewrite of what session/sessionable means, however. A bit confusing. This is no session ale, that's for sure.
I just bought a 4 back of stone bombers, sadly oaked arrogant bastard wasn't in it. I got double bastard, arrogant bastard, bourbon bastard and lucky bastard. so far they are all delicious
I got that for Christmas! Which was your favorite? I'm leaning towards Lucky, which feels like a balance of the other three. Double would be second, but it's just a tiny bit boozy.
I had the regular version in a 19.2 oz can fantastic beer and only $2.75 for the can. Another RUclips reviewer also loved it 👍🏻🍻

Thank you for your reviews. Good beer, and I do not prefer dark ones.

I tried this one about 4 months ago at a friend's recommendation, I thanked him, it's good stuff. Great Review, Cheers!
Dark red. Good head. Sweet Hop nose. Taste; sweet hops/malt/balance. SAB with kick! Nice finish.

Had this tonight for the first time...... I think I have a new favorite session beer. My goodness. Really enjoyed this one.

Sessionable!
Wow, you must have the metabolism of a hummingbird!!
