I always thought I was imagining that some 250 SWB cars looked different from each other, glad to finally see the differences highlighted!
I enjoy the story just as much as the car, well done James.
me too
These videos are priceless, literally priceless. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and for giving the rest of us a look inside the shop and sharing these amazing cars.
Another wonderful video on the history of the cars you’ve restored. I’d like to know what ‘ordinary’ job Ron Fry had which allowed him to own an SWB, a GTO, and an LM?
Do I remember the GT40 and the 250LM turning up at Castle Combe on a transporter together, or was it just a dream?
Awesome cars. The modern cars today, though technically more adept and faster, do not have the soul of these beauties.Thankyou for these videos.
Great video thanks. I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph SEFAC Hot Rod GT2689 in Christchurch, New Zealand for Beaded Wheels Magazine several years ago. It was a surreal experience driving through the city in such a car.
I love James' lecture style videos.
The marriage between DK and the greatest of cars equals pleasure and knowledge for the public that is interested in these things. As always, James is top drawer in delivery, content and confidence.
DK is a treasure.
Well done...again...
An excellent video showing us the subtle differences between the 2 series of the amazing 250SWB, possibly the best looking car of its era. Thanks James for sharing the cars with us. I would have loved a bit more at the end. That drive train noise is intoxicating.
Great piece on the differences in the SWB models. Here in Oz, I only got up close to one of these; Sn 3281. A beautiful RHD car in light green. I think (?) it might have been run at Goodwood a couple of years ago.
Terrific explanation of the differences between the early and late models. Thanks!
Just wow. Insightful knowledge of this gent is ubelievable. Respekt!
Thank you for sharing the details on these. I would never know the difference without a video like this
RUclips was lacking some good SWB vids and here it is! Many, many thanks!
I grew up in the passenger seat of one of these, an alloy body competition car, back when they were just cars and not worth millions and millions of dollars. Dad always had a blast with it, but I think I suffered permanent hearing loss from those drives :-). She was LOUD!!!! They truly are special. BUT, I would say the Daytona was the last drive to the track, race, then drive home Ferrari, not the SWB.
Vehicles like this you see in rich, wealthy people's car collections. It's interesting being able to have someone analyse and dissect these priceless racing machines.
Fab video. Full of pithy information. As a lifelong fan of these cars I really enjoyed this. Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to make that video. A great story, informative and very enjoyable to watch.
James you are always a pleasure to listen to - your knowledge of these cars is outstanding. Keep up the good work DK Engineering!
Thank you for another informative video. I love watching your videos because you are so well educated on the cars that you are presenting.
Love the history of these stunning cars. Great video, as always. Thank you.
LOVE these videos. Thank's for sharing. Stunning
That body colour dashboard took my breath away ❤️
Excellent. My favourite Ferrari 250 GT SWB 👌
A car with a purpose... Beautiful aggressive sonorous and so so elegant.
great video
Apparntly when Ronald Hoare applied to Mr Ferrari to take on the UK Ferrari concesionary he proposed 3 cars- 1 to sell, 1 for show and 1 for himself, Mr Ferrari approved as this was already 2 cars more than had previously been sold in the UK, I am looking foward to a report on the LM in the background . . . ; )
Majestic videos, keep that quality!
Tremendous presentation 👍
Super review, thank you for sharing

I do a third of what that car does a year on my rowing machine.
GTO was not a road car
