Have two pairs of the 002s. They fixed the terrible minimalist heel counter of the otherwise brilliant 001. Lots to admire about Norda and both models. The upper definitely does feel like a leather jacket after about 50 miles. The Norda Spike is my favorite of all and got me through a Colorado Rockies winter with record snow and ice. Definitely runs a 1/2 size small. Keep up your “boutique” reviews -
@@tomorrowsworld1 not at all. Some reviewers suggest that he 001 was too warm. Not to me. I’ve raced them in hot weather and had zero negative issues. But on the plus side, Dyneema is your best friend on rocky terrain because it protects your feet without being bulky or intrusive.
just received mine in my normal 12.5 size. def felt a bit snug and i think it would be uncomfortable running downhill, so ordered a 13 as i think it will fit better
I don’t understand the negative connotation of “not stretchy”….you want a shoe to support your foot as it shifts inside of it. A stretchy shoe is asking for rolled ankles and other injuries
Exactly. It's a rip off but good luck to them because I'm sure there will be some suckers out there buying the marketing. The mark up must be incredible.
This price is for people who use them as casual shoes. I run through several pairs of trail shoes per years and this price means poor miles/$. This is 5 pairs of Kigers for 1200 km each.

i have a hard time imagining that as i own lots of dyneema gear and none of it is breathable @@TrailrunnerTroy
If my size in 001 is 11.5. Do i need upsize to 12 in 002
@@MonsterHunter0000 no, but the 002 is a lower volume and narrower platform and fit appropriate for shorter-distance technical running.
I got my first pair of 001s, and then quickly got a second, and then a third. Honestly can't wait to get a pair of 002s.
